  • Our 1909 wrap around porch, In Texas, you relish a comfortable day, when you can come across it. Our screened in wrap around porch allows us to be outside and not combat the overgrown mosquitos. We brought the comfort of the indoors out. The cats love it too., Porches Design

  • Girls Chic Nursery, For our second daughter we wanted something bright fun and very current. We decorated the entire room including the closet. We will use the closet for the changing table. The ledge 3/4 of the way up the wall allows us to place pictures and other items to personalize the room. We used paint and ribbon to create the diamond shapes. It is pleasing and inviting for adults and kids. This will room will grow with her and not require us to redecorate as she grows up., Nurseries Design

  • Under the Sea Nursery, I love the ocean, and wanted to translate its soothing qualities into a space to hopefully help make for a calm baby boy! The colors were initially inspired by the bedding, but some of the amazing handmade gifts I received at my shower have added beautiful purples, greens and oranges to the palette. We hand painted the friendly sea creatures on the walls and bought the dark wood furniture cheaply at Ikea, then embellished with themed hardware. This room was a lot of FUN to design!!, Nurseries Design

  • Gianna's Room (in 1 month!), This will be Gianna's nursery. It's not 100% finished. I am still waiting on the round tufted ottoman to come in. I love sitting in here thinking about our first baby! My father in law made the bead board canopy for me and I painted it. There are pink silk carnations pinned to the tabs on the wood blind. I also made the little wood shelf and all of the wood frames above the bed. I've been on bedrest so they were nice little projects to tackle. , Nurseries Design

  • Mile Marker Memory, This past May my DH and I did a sort of "staycation" to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. We stayed down here in Florida and drove down to Mile Marker 97 in Key Largo. Along with several photos (not yet framed) and memories a souvenier we brought back was coral. The white coral inspired the painting of all existing black pieces to white. The white pops in the now black tv unit. , Living Rooms Design

  • Natural materials are more comfortable, This is my home office/studio at the north end of the house. I knew I’d spend a LOT of time in this space, so again I chose my favorite color: WOOD. The natural materials feel warm and inviting, both day and night. Another “bump-out” helps the space feels larger than it is., Home Offices Design

  • Jude's Vintage Nursery, An economical ($1000!) nursery for our new baby Jude! Inspired by vintage, antique pieces that were spruced up, bold textures/patterns, and a taste of a winter woodland theme, this nursery was done on a budget and many of the projects were created by us. Accessories, furniture recovering, fabric choices, wall hangings, etc. were DIY and very cheap!, Nurseries Design

  • Living Room in 1934 Cape Cod, This room had a LOT of wood stained in Colonial Maple. We wanted to keep the feel of the 1930's by keeping the color stain on the wood ceiling and walls true to the original. I used an olive taupe wall paint color to help balance the orange in the wood color. Then I used varying shades of gold fabrics to distract the eye from the orange. I like designing rooms that look like they have evolved over decades and have old souls. , Living Rooms Design
