  • Relaxing, casual kitchen, This is our kitchen. It overlooks our sunken family room. I wish several things were different with our space but we live with what we have. I think I have made good use of the space. I don't like clutter and keep my counters free of it. I do like our counters and the back splash. I also love our kitchen table and leather chairs. I put glass over the wood the protect it. I have three little ones and it makes clean up much easier. I know it isn't very pretty to look at. I also have two boosters for my twins at the table. I have matching chairs that they will graduate to someday. Our curtains are a new addition and add some color and fun. They coordinate well with our drapery in the family room. Enjoy looking. Thanks!, Kitchens Design

  • Living Area, Phase One of our living room re-design....

Taking down the existing wall that seperates the master bedroom closet and the living room, reconstructing it 2ft back into the closet, which included moving HVAC duct work to re-position the air return and moving and re-wiring an electrical outlet.

Then came mounting 12inch wide plank reclaimed wood on the main wall in the living room and also the wall that the air return is located on.

All in a few weekends time :), Living Rooms Design

  • Elegant Victorian Dining Room, This is the dining room remodel that my wife and I just completed. It was a full year process. Most everything in this room is antique. My favorite piece is the Eastlake bookase that I found at a local antique shop. All the accessories in this room are antiques as well. The entire house was inspired by the "smoking room" in Biltmore Estate located in Asheville, NC. A must see place. Please feel free to view all the rooms in ths remodel. All comments welcome.
