  • Updated 40's Vintage Kitchen, Wanting to keep the flavor of our little vintage 1940's kitchen while bringing it into the new millennium, we refurbished the original cabinets with their wonderful period details and constructed some new ones to match which accommodate new commercial-grade appliances. We added soapstone counters, a farmhouse-style sink, a subway tile back splash and a true linoleum, non-vinyl, floor in keeping with the period. The window seat is also original to the room and the pale robins egg blue color on the ceiling is one of my favorite features., Kitchens Design

  • Vintage Dinning Room, My house is a 2 story Victorian. This is my dinning room, which is very vintage. My house is always a work in progress. Someday I will improve this room! I love my curtains, I would like to get new chanderliar, center piece, lighter table cloth. I would love to have two pieces of art work on each side of the room when you first look in. with furniture, the same in each corner. with a lovely lamp on each. Let's just say I would want my dinning room to go granny, go granny away!! All I need now is a bigger pocket book and any ideas anyone?, Dining Rooms Design

  • Whimsical Window Seat, Our baby girl's nursery would only be complete with a window seat-- for future bedtime stories. We had to get creative since we didn't have an alcove. We purchased a "TV stand"- paired it with a curved shower curtain rod and added beautiful taffeta curtains and a whimsical shade with coordinating tie-backs bench cushion and throw pillows (all made by Grandma.) We love Addison's nursery and hope to inspire others to create a window seat of their own. :-) ~ Jen, Nurseries Design

  • Window Seat, I finally found some cushions for my window seat in our dining room. I may add some throw pillows, not sure. I have not done anything to the dining room since we moved in (such as paint) so it still needs work but the cushions make me feel so much better! Plus they keep me from throwing clutter there lol!, Dining Rooms Design
