  • My secret retreat in my home, This is my front room, which is about 10 x 12. It's small but it is my retreat. I sit in here to look at my garden, gather my thoughts and sit with my dog. Originally this room had textured walls, popcorn ceilings and ugly paneling. My husband smoothed out the walls, put crown molding, painted the walls spring green and put the hardwood floor in. Thanks to your advise I added yellow to my room, which makes me love it more. My dog loves to sit in the room to watch the neighbors, and waits for her Mom and Dad to come home from work. My day is not complete until I see her little white head appear in the window., Living Rooms Design
