A bright red wall in the home office space needed some fresh updating. The furniture was black with a few white splashes here and there. But it needed more! So I brought in another accent color - TEAL! I added subtle accessories here and there (photo frames, candlesticks and some stunning new window treatments from zGallerie. One of my favorite updates was purchasing a $30 standard white bookcase from Target, bought a sample size paint jar from home depot and painted the backing to give the book case some POP.

Light green (Celery Sprig by Behr walls with white black and periwinkle accents makes for a relaxing place to spend time on the home computer. My husband created the desktop and the accent table by hand.

Here is half of my home office. The other half is not excting just a small desk and two file cabinets. I am a full time student and it is nice to stop my studies and look back every once and a while and wish I could take a break and play on the beach. My husband actually picked out the picture many years ago when we were dating.

This is our den/ guestroom. The desk is only temporary until we can find "just the right one" for the space. My husband wants to do built-ins for more storage. This room is "T" shaped and really small. The sofa is a comfy sleeper for our guests and fit perfectly in this nook (with some encouragement. I made the toile pillows and window treatments and the wicker settee belonged to my husband's Great-Grandmother. It is a soothing space- even when paying bills.

This should be a formal living room but it is better served as an office for my husband Paul. It is a hodgepodge of misc. furniture left over from our previous 3 homes and work spaces. It needs HELP!!!
