  • Springtime On My Wrap Around Front Porch!,  I love to decorate my porch.I dont do much with it in the winter but let spring hit and my mom and me go crazy!!  Always changing things adding things... you never know what we might use to decorate this spot! It is also the perfect place to sit in the evening because the sun sets in the backyard. I couldnt get the camera to take a good photo.  IMO these pict's dont show its true "cuteness" but they will give you a general idea.   • how to make a more cottage feel, I would really like some opions on making this  have  more cottage  curb appeal..The siding windows concrete and roof and little front porch are all new. i added the awnings and window boxes thinking that would help..I don't know if I need to change the shutters to a different color and style  or what!   • My Parent's First Home -1964, This is a photo of my parent's first home circa Fall 1964 Alpena Michigan.  All five of their kids shared one bedroom in the rear of this two-bedroom house.  If you look closely you can see a couple of pink flamingos on the left side of the front lawn.  My Dad actually built the white picket fence surrounding the yard.   • Tea Party on the Porch (Mixing two china patterns), Found this vintage pink rimmed china by International Glenwood pattern in a local  shop and thought it would go well with some Homer Laughlin china I already had at home. This is my attempt  :-) to be creative and mix two patterns. What do you think?  Does it work?  Love to hear your thoughts on the other tablescapes I have posted as well.   • Christopher's Nursery, Our baby's nursery has come a long way from start to finish. Although it was a painstaking process, mostly for my Dad who was faced with the challenge of uneven, un-level, floors and windows while he was trying to do all of the woodwork and mouldings, the end result was worth it. We love the room, it's bright, warm and cozy and a space that the baby can enjoy now and can grow with him as he grows.
