  • A navy blue big boy room!, It was time...we adored our son's nursery, but it wasn't working for a three-year-old. :) I choose a navy blue for the walls, with tons of white accents (board and batten treatment and molding) to keep the room bright. The room is accented with red, yellow, light blue and brushed nickel accessories.

  • Sittin in the mornin sun..., This is our back porch off of the kitchen and leading down to the pool and back area surrounding pool and covered deck. It captures morning sun and is lovely in the fall, but a bit warm in the summer. It is the place to sit to watch the kids in the pool. The wicker furniture and sunbrella cushions are so comfy. • SUMMER BREEZE...MAKES ME FEEL FINE, Sheers on the porch sway in the breezes...they give the porch a romantic up-in-the-clouds feeling. Swing chains are covered with fabric cord covers and an old hutch was painted for china storage. The porch was pre-wired for music and I would love for you to visit my blog where you can hear what's usually playing out on the porch: http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/. Thanks so much for stopping by my RMS friends...please have a glass of iced tea and a cookie before you leave. :-), Porches Design

  • Laundry hallway closet, I recently completed a pretty indepth upstairs renovation. We transformed a laundry room into a guest bath and a bonus room into 2 bedrooms. My biggest obstacle was what to do with my laundry room. The result was really the only option I could think of that made sense...I moved the washer and dryer into a hallway closet. The key to the function of this design was the sliding glass doors that I found online at the Sliding Glass Door Co. and the custom shelves from local organization company. Without them I would have been stuck with tiny, cramped area full of wasted space with typical ugly bi-fold doors. , Closets & Utility Design
