  • Country Dining Room, Country Dining Room with raised panel wainscot decorative valences over doors and stacked crown moulding. Trim is Antique White Semi-gloss (Wilshire) Walls are Sherwin-Williams "Restrained Gold" in flat ceiling is a mix of Antique white and the "Restrained Gold" probably close to 50/50. We really love the colors. Gold is very hard to get right. The first paint job came out very yellow. This color If it errs to any other color in certain light I would have to say more towards Tan., Dining Rooms Design

  • Small Bath Remodel , Our small narrow bathroom was in need of a serious remodeling. We gutted it and spent 8 months carefully putting it back together! We saw the wainscot idea and are so happy we used it. We like the contrast of the dark paint color and the white wainscot and white fixtures. We used chrome as the accent for towel bars tp holder light fixtures etc. Using a pedestal sink instead of a vanity give the illusion of more space in a very narrow bathroom. , Bathrooms Design

  • Classic, Elegant Small Gem, We live in an historic home, so we wanted to maintain a classic look to our main upstairs bathroom. We used 2" hex for the floor and subway tile for the wainscot, but we brought it up a notch by using carerra marble. We had the carerra marble baseboard made by our stone fabricator and brought in our 'tile master' to bring it all together. We used venetian plaster on the walls above the wainscot and brought in a couple of key pieces of furniture(moroccan chest) to finish it off., Bathrooms Design

  • My 90's bathroom today, This is our full bath in our home. We fully gutted and remodeled it in 1995. It was a showpiece then, now not so much. Oak cabinets have lost their coolness, the tiles(2x2) on the floor and shower(8x8) all white don't seem right, wainscot I am unsure about. Full double mirrors, too. Needs some freshening up but to what I don't know. , Bathrooms Design

  • Finally Finished! I think! Large Master Bamboo Furniture made by us!, I made some final tweaks to this room based on some feedback I got on an earlier post. This is a large master bedroom that also houses the home office area. My husband and I made the bed and floating nightstands out of 4' X 8' sheets of bamboo. I love the look of bamboo, glass and fresh colors. The master bath is a mixture of greens and teals, hence those colors in the bedroom. The room is on the dark side so I wanted some brighter colors. Eventually we will get around to making the dresser out of bamboo, but for now I still have the old one in place.
Our last project in this room was the wainscoting. It took us about 3 days to complete. We did everything from scratch. I realize this isn't everyone's taste but I like things out of the box. Unusual I guess. And I like color! , Bedrooms Design
