  • Horizontal Stripes and Polka Dots for Girls: Pink, Teal, Lime, Tan, Two little princesses started with a plain light gray room. With the purchase of new bunk beds & new polka dot bedding, we needed something girly to jazz up the new space. We taped off horizontal stripes to coordinate, and the attached bath uses polka dots in the coordinating colors and the same princess theme. It uses bubble gum pink, lime green, light teal/turquoise, and tan/khaki. The wall of baskets was pricey but is invaluable storage for toys and such. The whole project was kid-friendly and fun and on a budget., Girls' Rooms Design

  • Blue and Brown Master bed room remodel, This was two years in the making we finished our Raised ranch addition and my master bedroom was last ..(well not really our master bath gets underway this month) Its a pretty big space with a huge walk in closet still looking to finish with some crown molding and other decorative accessories.   • Pheasant Creek Fusion, This is the bedroom in our 686 square foot condo in Lake Forest California. The condos here are converted apartments with virtually nothing in the way of architectural detail. The rooms are plain little boxes. We wanted something special so we added our own details by using a large Art Nouveau/Arts & Crafts style wallpaper border (24 inches tall) and topped it with crown moulding as well as painted trim on the lower part of the border.   • New modern master bedroom in an 1873 Victorian, This is my first time decorating my way. I love the Outerbanks NC and wanted to feel like I am there without becoming to "beachy". My master bedroom in my 1873 Victorian went from Grandma's attic to modern beach.   • Dramatic gold & chocolate brown bedroom, I was really going for a monotone gold on gold color scheme but found these dark brown silk drapes and fell in love with them. The walls are a gold paint glazed with brown and they look like leather! We haven't gotten the crown molding up yet -- that's our next project.   • Bedroom Makeover IN PROCESS, be gentle please!, HELP! My bedroom has 3 doors 2 windows and double folding closet doors!! That means very little wall space. I need inexpensive headboard ideas! I want to do something different with the TV but a new one isn't in the budget right now. I want to paint the room a light tan color I think.   • Idea for Master Bedroom, Second marriage fusing households....we just peeled wallpaper and painted Master Bedroom. Used Divine paint in Mocha on three walls and Almond on focal wall.   • Tween bedroom, I created this space for my 11 and 12 year old daughters. It is a 12x12 room that had to function as a bedroom,dressing room, and a hang out space for their friends when they came over. I asked them what colors they wanted (Brown, Green, and Blue) and what feel they wanted, one wanted it to feel like a spa the other wanted it to be a little more sophisticated.
