  • Knock down a wall or 2...bam!! 4 x the size!!, My kitchen was very tiny and out dated before....I did all the layout, design and decor myself...we did a lot of our own work.....took a while to complete but so worth it!! We now have 2 window seats, a pantry closet, a 9' island, stainless farm sink, soft close drawers and doors, granite counter tops, travertine floors, glass and marble backsplash....enough seating for at least 19 people in this room!!, Kitchens Design

  • Upgraded Kitchen, This is the result of our minor kitchen remodel. We replaced the tile countertop with granite. Installed crown molding throughout the house. Added pendant and undercabinet lighting. Installeda travertine tile backsplash. Added molding to the island base to make it more decorative. We also replaced the ceramic tile floors with oak floors stained in a dark cherry. We did all the work ourselves. We would love to hear your feedback!!, Kitchens Design

  • Need HELP choosing Granite Slab for my kitchen. Slab pics posted., Plan to install granite countertops this week. I would also like to install a matching stainles 60/40 split sink. Faucets TBD. Backsplash I am thinking a tumbled subway marble. Any ideas there? We'll be painting this entry floor with neutral browns and white trim. Hardwoods in dining room will remain dark. Kitchen floor I am thinking will change to either a nice tan color travertine or slate. Any suggestions for the granite backsplash paint color faucets or flooring? Thanks! , Kitchens Design

  • Bathroom Remodel $1600 Click and View For Details, Bathroom Remodel for $1600 and this is how we did it. I remodled the bathroom 6 months ago and at the time I did the math on it it was $1200. When I went back over the math last night it was $1600. Cabinet over toilet $110( 10% off Veterans Day Sale), Wall and floor tile 88 cents square feet $100 for all tiles ( 10% military discount at Lowes) White and brown paint $40. Purchased granite top $200 vanity $300 toilet $180 mirror $80 kohls shower head, handles, and sink fixture $200 all at once from home depot( 20% off first purchase on credit card)Tub, linen closet hardware was reused. Hardware was repainted silver. Electric and plumbing about $60 did labor myself. A Pella replacement window $130 (25% seasonal window discount/sale). Decor and other accessories $200 TJ Max it took approximately 3 weeks. Still needs quarter round and mouldings. Still needs some work but for the most part it's done.Could you please tell me if you like it, don't like or what I could have done better, all comment are good comments.   • Downstairs Renovation -kitchen, foyer, dining,living, office, We renovated the entire downstairs. We ripped out all the floors, installed beautiful hand scrapped bamboo throughout, put up crown molding, new lighting, new paint, entire new kitchen - black leather granite counters, installed chocolate maple cabinets, glass backsplash that pulls all the colors together, added black furniture island with madura gold granite, copper farmhouse sink, lights and furniture as well as taking down the knee wall and making it a breakfast bar, changed the stairways by adding wrought iron spindles and staining the banisters. , Other Spaces Design
