  • Too Much or Just Right, This is our family - great room. It is very open with 18 foot ceilings that is also seen from the upstairs open balcony areas. Downstairs we have 2 focal points in the room, one being the entertainment center, the other the fireplace. I guess, I should also consider the windows to the pool & backyard a focal point.

This is our new sectional and entertainment center. We can arrange in many shapes and are trying to balance the room size but also create more seating room without cramping the walking space between the rooms. This room is also open to the kitchen that has a huge kitchen island with seating.

Suggestions, feedback? My husband and I have different thoughts and having more input might help us make a final decision., Living Rooms Design

  • Facelift for Masterbath, Although this was a small outdated, dark master bath and has recently undergone a renovation. There were many inspirations, mostly from designers and photo's across the web. We were going for a bright, clean, contemporary look; inspired by a spa-like feel and earthly accent tones., Bathrooms Design

  • Help me finish!, The living room is long and has a fire place in an ackward spot making it difficult to work with. This room was just updated from the 1950's style. We removed the popcorn acoustic ceiling added recessed lightcrown molding paint new floor and re-finished the fireplace from old bricks to tile. I am going to use red as the accent color. Any ideas as tables and lamps are welcome. Also would like suggestions for dinning room table (round rectangular or oval), Living Rooms Design

  • Master Bath................... with an In"spa"rational View!, We found this Spec-Home in Mid-Construction and were able to find discounted tumbled marble and travertine accents to add to the builders basic beige tile. The wooded view in summer is amazing but in winter privacy is an issue. I added sheer embroidered fabric to the screens which lets in the light and the view and is removeable when things "green up" again in the spring., Bathrooms Design

  • Towel Rack on Glass Shower Door, I had limited space and did not want to use a shower hook to hold towels. I drilled the towel rack directly into the metal shower frame. It was practical and had easy access to the towels from both the tub and shower. , Bathrooms Design

  • Never want to Leave it Now, Our 80's outdated Master Bathroom needed major updating. This 12 x 8 bathroom was outdated and had carpet. I hate carpet in a bathroom and our plan was to change the carpet out for tile and paint the pink walls. A three day project turned into a week long journey, but now we have a relaxing getaway we enjoy daily. Initially we only wanted to paint the walls and redo the flooring. But once we started we found plumbing issues and decided to take on a total makeover. Once the project was finished, we were amazed we had only spent $1000.00. , Bathrooms Design
