  • Bathroom Dilemma?, Help! Our house has two separate incomplete guest bathrooms on opposite ends of the hall. One has a tub and sink and down the hall you will find a toilet and sink. Do my guests tinkle in my tub if they forget to stop down the hall? Both spaces need to be renovated. How do we make them look like they really are a single bathroom? What makes a bathroom the tub or the toilet? We really don't know what to do., Bathrooms Design

  • Facelift for Masterbath, Although this was a small outdated, dark master bath and has recently undergone a renovation. There were many inspirations, mostly from designers and photo's across the web. • NARROW Master Bath update, This bathroom is part of our master bedroom separated by bi-folding doors. It measures a narrow 4 1/2 feet wide by 13 feet long. We did a low cost remodel about 6 years ago to get rid of hideous 1960s marble vanity that only had one sink and peach colored walls. HIDEOUS. Yes. We installed a new vanity with double sinks and the tall be to get rid of the1960s tile flooring in the toilet/shower area which is embedded in concrete and update the tile in the walk in shower. Sure, we would love to update with a spa like retreat but we are very limited on space and money so nothing can be moved or replumbed. , Bathrooms Design

  • Not so common look for track house bathroom!, My guest bathroom was blah and my budget limited. I removed the builder grade cabinet and replaced it with a pedestal sink I took out the tub and added a walk-in shower with frameless glass doors. Its bright low maintence and safe for my parents who visit often. I used crisp white beadboard on the walls and painted the top section a faux leather look in a deep carmel color. The do it yourself crown moulding went up in about 1 hour or so. I love it!!!! All for less than $600.00., Bathrooms Design

  • Loft Space, We fell in love with our home mainly because a master bedroom/den in a loft area seemed so romantic. Three years later we're raising the white flag because of the lack of storage and the toilet and cubby areas have absolutely no door solutions.

The bed is atop a four inch "stage" under the northern dormer. The TV/media area/home office is under the western dormer. The southern dormer houses a sunroom we were able to successfully remodel. The western dormer is where the "problem" tub/closet/toilet are. We can't figure out a way to give the toilet privacy due to the angle of the dormer., Other Spaces Design
