  • Reed's Nursery Rhyme Nursery, This mural includes children's songs, fables, nursery rhymes, and tons of tiny critters and animals to keep a baby entertained. I created this nursery for my first born son Reed. I was 8 months pregnant when I began painting it. This was my favorite project because it was the first time I got to create a project for my own child. , Nurseries Design

  • out of the dark into the light - UPDATED, My dark, very small galley kitchen was over due for an update. Since removing walls was not in the budget or workable I had to work within the small space that I had. Since the laundry and pantry area are adjoining the kitchen and visible I extended the work into that area as well. After all the work I was amazed at how much bigger and brighter it is. Even though it is still small I enjoy cooking in there and welcoming family and friends who want to sit and talk.

  • To invent, you need a good imagination and a pile of junk.-Thomas Alva Edison, I created this small like closet space into a bathroom. It was my first DIY project. I broke a few nails but I'm proud of the outcome on completion. The best part of this bathroom, is that it cost me under $500! Recycle, reuse, reinvent and living by the saying "One person's junk is another's treasure!" Being creative, patient, resourceful and along with trash day I created this., Bathrooms Design

  • Film/Movie Theme for a 13 year old boy's room, My son has been asking for a room remodel since his sister's was done three years ago. I had to wait until I thought he could take care of it. This is the result. He loves filming, so I went with a movie and filming theme. his favorite color is red, so I used it as the accent color. I found the bedding and then went shopping. I think it turned out great. And he loves it!, Boys' Rooms Design

  • BIRCHFIELD GARDENS, I have a postage-stamp size yard in a housing subdivision. But have managed to turn it into a solitary retreat. It is also a registered Backyard Wildlife Habitat. In the city! I see the awesomeness of God in His creation. What a glorious Creator. I have named my gardens after my great-grandparents. As a very small child I remember trying to push the reel mower with my great grandfather and the gladiolus in my grandmother's yard. My grandfather and I would take a salt shaker to the garden, pick tomatoes(obviously organic) off the vine and enjoy. Gr. grandma Birchfield's name was Ivy Myrtle. Hence Birchfield Gardens!, Gardens Design

  • Hall Way to the Upstairs, When I bought this over 100 year old house, this hallway was dirty and dingy,
the curtains were hung so long that they turned to dust on the floor when I took them down. Now that I don't rent out the upstairs any longer and just use it for storage and my office I wanted something else to decorate so I began on my hallway. This is now the most favorite part of my house..., Other Spaces Design
