  • Teen Bedroom/lounge, I have no before photos. This was a plain white "box"

She wanted Audry Hepburn Decor, a desk to do homework, a lounge for entertaining and movie nights with friends and a bed and sofa too!

Well, I think we achieved it all in a small space. Thank you Ikea!, Girls' Rooms Design

  • Funky Teen Zebra Lounge, Our daughter has fallen head over heals in love with zebras and wanted to express this in her bedroom. My husband made the platforms for the beds, and together we made the zebra fur headboards. We painted the wall in a medium grey, and accented it with red and black. We bought the zebra head wally off Ebay. The leather half circle chair is so much fun, it swivels all the way around. Since the window was right in the middle of one of the beds, we were able to carry the headboard onto the other side. So, for the curtain, we knew we needed something that would be placed inside the window casing, so when her friends stay over, they won't get caught up in it. The curtain is a muted white on white zebra print that I bought at Target and remade to be put on tension rods. We added a red, deep shag carpet on the floor, and my husband bought her a new wall mount stereo (not in the pics). We did a surprise reveal for her. She didn't know about the stereo or the chair and side was A LOT OF FUN doing this for her!!! Thanks to satsun for the bed inspiration!, Girls' Rooms Design

  • unused playroom to teen lounge on a tight BUDGET, The kids are hitting their teen years and the parents wanted to give them a cooler place to hang out. New charcoal carpeting windows (still waiting for the wood blinds to arrive) and fresh paint provided a nice back drop to the frames and pops of color (one wanted purple and one wanted blue to be in the room- both got their wish!). No new furniture was purchased (except those ottomans) everything was reused and redesigned to make the room cool for the kids., Living Rooms Design

  • Sherbelicious, This started out as a plain white office in a building the church uses for youth group. It was turned into a teen girl hangout. Using sherbert colors and what we had on hand we transformed this room. We used some $1 yd fabric file cabinet cut up water noodle for wall art and a few goodwill finds. I could see this design working for a bedroom as well. I think we spent a total of 75 dollars for everything. , Girls' Rooms Design
