  • Fireplace Makeover, When we bought the home, the fireplace had no mantle (a must for hanging stockings during the holidays!). The challenge: it is asymmetrical, with stone work from the '60s along one side, and a very low opening.
We purchased a mantel from fireplacemantels.com and installed it ourselves - the right side had to be cut to fit around the stone. We painted the wall above the fireplace a darker color to give it some accent.
The goal was to make it look less 1960's and more "medieval castle"., Living Rooms Design

  • Victorian Modern elegant, In this spacious, elegant dining room I started with the sleek limestone table and oversized, armless, captain chairs. Custom, silk toile draperies adorn a large window with a forrest view. A brick and fruit tapestry on one wall opposite a large, framed mirror and two Cappadomonte reliefs and a handpainted buffet complete the look. Under all lies a traditional rug., Dining Rooms Design

  • My living room needs a bit more tweeking, I purchased tapestry & my mother made me cornices. I love them but I am not 100% sure about the sheer curtains. (I NEED YOUR IDEAS FOR CURTAINS!) I have extra tapestry & plan on making a new cushion for the chair & a new table runner. The maroon wall also needs to be toned down a bit maybe the color of my sofa? I also would like a dark olive area rug. The kitchen green was taken from the cornices it doesn't look it in the photos but they are the same green. , Living Rooms Design
