If you could see a before picture of this "bachelor" master bedroom you would be greeted with white walls college dorm furniture no headboard and flannel bear and moose sheets. (i'm not kidding. It's a good thing I didn't fall in love with my boyfriend for his design skills! I tried to make it as gender unspecific as possible using the blues and browns so he feels comfortable in the space and so do I with a few slightly feminine touches. I hope you like it!

I am currently in college so low budget options are always helpful : I need some help with what to do above the bed...I was thinking possibly a big iron scroll or two square matted pictures with 4x4 pictures inside. How does the space seem to be working? It is very small!Thank you all for your suggestions but unfortunately my bed does not fit under the window....this is the only arrangement that works. Any new suggestions?

This is our master bedroom. The walls are pale airy blue. This furniture was probably a bad selection since it takes up the whole room. We pretty much don't have any options for furniture placement. Suggestions for decor?

This mural includes children's songs, fables, nursery rhymes, and tons of tiny critters and animals to keep a baby entertained. I created this nursery for my first born son Reed. I was 8 months pregnant when I began painting it. This was my favorite project because it was the first time I got to create a project for my own child.

With three small children, my husband and I definitely deserve a restful, beautiful room. I created this space to feel sophisticated and elegant without being TOO ornate. The elegance of the furniture is balanced with the simple beauty of the lamps and mirror. My husband has to live in this room, too, so this is a nice balance of feminine and masculine by using black, leather and nail-head trim. The walls are Valspar's "Lighthouse Shadows". The ceiling is "Cream in My Coffee". Since the ceiling is vaulted, we added the molding to "bring the ceiling down" and create a cozier space. Painting the ceiling the same color as the upper wall helped complete this feel.
The bedding was surprisingly purchased at Walmart about 2 years ago. I made the curtains, wall monogram and headboard with a little muscle from hubby. I removed the original "matchy matchy" mirror on the dresser and added this large solid wood one from Homegoods - only $50! Other accessories in the room are from Marshalls, Target, Homegoods, Ross, etc. I successfully convinced my husband to take down the ceiling fan and put up the chandelier instead...bought at Home Depot.
I finally LOVE our bedroom and the feeling it brings us.

This is my kitchen. We want to list our house so we painted the walls and replaced the floor. I don't really want to replace countertops but I'm wondering what else I could do to make it more appealing to buyers. My colors are blue and browns. Any other ideas I could incorporate here?

I did the whole "rate my space" on this room in the past, which was named Paisley's and Chocolate. I received so many wonderful ideas on how to improve my room that I took all of those ideas and updated my living room! So, thank you for all the incredible ideas - I love my new updates! I am still on the look out for an updated ceiling fan, new pillows for the sofa's, and we are going to be painting ours walls to a softer neutral color that isn't as dark as the color in this room right now. Aside from all of that, these are the compiled ideas from you, my friends! Thanks for your help!!!

My kitchen is non functional! The fridge is small and doesn't open all the way. We have blue laminate countertops too tall and skinny jours and cabinets making it hard to store anything bigger than a fork! Our appliances are cream colored and we have a whole lot of potential with a huge space!
