This kitchen is located in 3 bdrm condo. Building is from 1920's.
Old kitchen last updated with a laminated look with no real value for cooking or anything for that matter. 80's years of history with no charm. I did my best to transform it from drab to wow.

The ultimate in blue and white classic spa design. I used a combination of blue paint on the walls; white DeWils vanity; white porcelain sinks; chrome Moen fixtures; Cambria quartz ("Torquay" on the countertop, top of half walls and window sill - which is an understated cream complemented by swirls of gray and tan Artistic Tile forms the wall art (white marble and Calacatta Gold marble seamless tile Swarovski crystals interspersed with white glass tiles in the tub surround; and white marble porcelain tiles on the shower walls and floor. The Swarovski crystal chandelier in chrome over the bathtub in front of the London shade completes the look. It's an elegant bath - definitely my "personal" space where I go to relax and enjoy life!

This space was originally a blank canvas (completely white. We added chair rail molding crown molding and decorative moldings over the sliding glass door to the backyard. Since the home is 99 years old I wanted to find furniture to fit the time period. My parents found this furniture on Ebay and it works great.

I wanted to redecorate my bathroom starting with a unique designed shower curtain as it is the main focal point in a bathroom, could not find anything spectacular so I created my own, with a twist bringing it to life by adding over 500 swarovski crystals.

When my husband and I found out we were having a little girl, my wheels immediately started spinning and construction began! I have always loved wainscot, so that was the first DIY project my husband tackled. I maximized space by setting the armoire caddy-corner with a changing station to the left and the crib directly on the opposing wall. The glider and ottoman is also caddy corner next to the changing station. I found an antique mahogany two-tier table with scallop edging from Craigslist -$50- and refinished it in a black pearl stain with gold etching and tulip flowers with the letter M for Baby Madison. The picture-in-picture was a design inspiration that my mom found in an interior decor magazine. We replicated the idea, wallpapering each of the inside panels bordered with molding, and placed vintage pictures that have been with my family for several years. On the 'changing station' wall, the other two picture-in-pictures have wired vintage figures of a manikin silhouette and Eiffel tower for that Parisian flare. My mother-in-law made all the bedding, drapery, and diaper hanging sack from fabric we picked out a local fabric warehouse in Buena Park, CA. The crib cornice and curtain tie backs were a great find at the Princess Canopy Shop on Etsy. They are stained in black pearl with brass/gold etching. My husband designed the M font and worked with an online wood-work company to produce the finished product at a greatly reduced price -under $40-. I bought the hanging chandelier on closeout with black shades and matching pink bows were tied using the leftover pink satin bedding fabric. The furniture is by Munire, purchased at USA Baby and the lamp was purchased on clearance at Tuesday Morning -$50-. I shopped around for the rug after finding that on an interior design website, I bought it for 50% less than retail from BoldRugs.com after they price matched another competitors price. The crib mobile was purchased on target.com.

This room is so posh! I did it in the girl's favorite colors: hot pink black and green! The chandelier is my favorite part! The knobs on the chest were hand painted and have a swarovski crystal in the center. The chandelier crystals are also swarovski. I made the memo board. I also made the lamp shade.
