  • Hodgepodge to Heavenly, See the "before" picture. The old and dangerous wrought iron spikes were the first things to go and we think adding the wrought iron on the balcony worked. The stone face and wall additions helped add some character along with the window and door surrounds. We hope you agree., Home Exteriors Design

  • Repost of Tuscan Elegance, The house was midway through framing when I came into this project. The homeowners wanted a luxurious, tranquil, bath that would be a room they never want to leave. The first thing I did, was to address the feel of the room and the approach (entrance). I wanted to give them a feeling that would carry through from the moment they entered the space! Using warm colors with different types of faux finishes, I was able to accomplish something even more than what they expected. It's my job to show the possibilities of what a room can be. I loved hanging out on the concrete floor and drawing until the design just came to me! A little chilly but all worth it in the end! Let me know what you think! I wanted to repost this with descriptins and my thoughts about designing the space and inivte your questions about your baths or others spaces! Thanks so much and Happy Designing!, Bathrooms Design

  • Rustic Red 1865, This is the living room of our Historic Old Stone home in Camp Verde built in 1865. Everything is original from the wood floors to the exposed stone wall on both sides of the fireplace which I built from a wood burning metal insert and double walled pipe connected to the original stone chimneywhich I bought at a garage sale for $50 and used a few studs, cement fireboard and sheetrock to make a very inexpensive and nice looking fireplace that was added in lieu of the old Pot belly stove that didn't do the job of warming up the house nor adding ambiance. This is my favorite room where we relax on our old leather couch with a good fire going a book and my roudy Airedale Scarlett., Living Rooms Design
