  • My Sanctuary -Garden of the Year 2007 by Commercial Appeal Newspaper, Memphis has had a dry spell but I am thankful for a good irrigation system. This is my refuge from daily stress (working full time) - I have feeders for the birds and squirrels, caged feeders for the small birds to protect them from the sharp shinned hawk. The pond also gives me such pleasure. Here is where I work out all my stress and frustrations - My Sanctuary!, Gardens Design

  • Glory of the Flower, Roses are my favorite flower of all. I seem to be able to find room for just one more new one each year. My roses have had a rough year this year. First the got black spot from all the rain we had this spring. We nurse them back to good health only for them to be attacked by Japanese Beatles! But they survived and are now showing their gratitude with beautiful lush blooms!, Gardens Design

  • My little city garden, The lot is about 25 x 90, so there's not much room. I've tried to make it as "wash and wear" as possible---it took awhile, but it no longer needs a whole lot of care or water., Gardens Design
