  • Bright Bedroom, This is our guest bedroom, done on a budget. The bed and dresser are family heirlooms (as well as a chest, not pictured) and the chair was an estate sale find at $5. The bed linens were a clearance find, and the art, pillows, and curtains were all DIY., Bedrooms Design

  • Christmas Sage, Silver and Crystal Tablescape, The silver angel came from Marshall's and the trees I found at 60% off at Hobby Lobby. The crystal nutcracker candlesticks are from the Christmastree shop. I used footed crystal candle plates as salad plates and crystal bowls, both also from the Christmastree shop at only a couple of dollars a piece. The little crystal salt cellars are from a local consignment shop - I got 6 of them for $3.

  • Aiden's Nursery, This room started out without a theme. I bought a 4-in-1 crib and changing table that doubles as a dresser/bookshelf so it could grow with my son. I wanted the basic colors (red, blue, yellow, green) and somewhat vintage touches. When I got the room done, I realized it was in fact a transportation room more so that anything else. So be it. What little boy doesn't like cars, trains, and planes.. right? , Nurseries Design

  • Master Suite, This is the master bedroom and bathroom in our 1400 sq. ft. condo. My goal was to design something that my husband and I would like, would maximize the space, and would be neutral enough to also appeal to buyers when we look to sell the unit in the next few years.

The wall color is Valspar 'Pirate Coast', the furniture is Vaughan-Bassett, the bedding is from Restoration Hardware, the shade is from Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and the prints are from Homegoods.

  • Before and After, Pitched a design to my contractor and he came through for me. Wanted to bring back some of the 1940's carector by using a cedar composite (easy to take care of), also wanted to create layers of texture, contrast and color.

The sider has a technique of creating a "J" channel with the trim, you can see this on the windows, by doing this he doesnt have to "J" channel the windows with the normal "J" channel, it gives it a nice clean look around the windows.

I still need to do some work on the fence, walkway and garage but this part of the exterior was the biggest that needed to be done. There was 5! layers of shingles on the roof. We estimated that to about 9 tons of shingles!, Home Exterior Design

  • Small Bath Remodel , Our small narrow bathroom was in need of a serious remodeling. We gutted it and spent 8 months carefully putting it back together! We saw the wainscot idea and are so happy we used it. We like the contrast of the dark paint color and the white wainscot and white fixtures. We used chrome as the accent for towel bars tp holder light fixtures etc. Using a pedestal sink instead of a vanity give the illusion of more space in a very narrow bathroom. , Bathrooms Design

  • Chocolate, Teal & Sage Nursery (close up pics added 12/9), For Broderick's nursery we chose a distinguished yet fun color palate of chocolate teal & sage. The deep espresso furniture offsets the light tan wall color and compliments the bright teal blue and soft sage green of the paisley crib bumper. The canvas prints are photographs ‘Mommy’ took in the first few weeks home from the hospital. The flat panel TV is wired for satellite and helps these brand new parents cope with late night feedings. We truly enjoy this room and hope you do too!, Nurseries Design
