  • small patio for my apartment , A cozy little spot surrounded by glass and concrete. My place to get away and recharge my soul. A tad small at only five by five and yet still a little piece of heaven to me. It is "My space". My own little refuge from a long day where I can relax and enjoy a cold drink. Stop by rest a while tell me what you think., Patios & Decks Design

  • Small apartment patio, These are pictures of my first attempt at decorating my tiny apartment balcony. This space is only about 6' by 6' so I'm working with a small area. Because it's an apartment building I can't put anything on the walls. I've created a small outdoor garden out of my many potted plants (I love gardening). I chose the small circular table because it doesn't take up much space and is a perfect size for setting a drink on while sitting outside reading a book., Patios & Decks Design

  • Small Patio Makeover, When I purchased my condo, my patio was left like a junk yard, even when the stuff was removed it was terrible. The patio was made of some kind of cement with large rock mixed in, the large blocks were separated with rotted 2x4's. I didn't have much of a budget, so I hit the pennysaver for used garden stones, and Big Lots for the patio furniture. This is what my $400 plus a lot of sweat, make over turned out like. I would love to hear your thoughts., Patios & Decks Design

  • A tiny apartment patio with lots of regulations can still feel like home, I hope anyone rating this would factor in the spacial constraints, budgetary commitment, and regulatory limitations of aapartment life. Those limitations are what make the space a statement of my efforts rather than the overall look.

We downsized from a house to an apartment and my biggest fear was losing my outdoors. We found a place with a tiny patio and a ton of rules and regs on what can go out there. Still, thanks to Craig'sList, Ollie's overstock store, and some creativity, I made my nook for under $150. Just waiting on my daughter's school to end to add potted plants.

  • My small gardening space, I have a small 22x12 patio. I love to garden and build things. Back in 2003 I built my first trellis and started adding potted plants to my patio, since then I have built two trellis, one is 4ft wide, 2ft deep and 8ft tall and the other in front of the glass sliding door is 8wide x2 deep x8ft tall. I also built a potting bench and a square ft organic garden under one of the trellis. I am constantly adding more whimsies to the yard, I love unique wind chimes and when I have the opportunity, I buy them. Enjoy and hope you can make your small space as comfortable and inviting as mine., Patios & Decks Design

  • Emily's Room, This is a small bedroom in an apartment. I wanted to stick to a theme. I found my bedding that was black white and red. I then wanted to add a home like effect for the room. I found some red and black mirrors and then just went from there. I have always liked pictures so I just started adding pictures and this is what I got. I hope you all like it as much as I do!, Bedrooms Design

  • Simplicity in White, A white palette provides a light elegance for new and vintage pieces within a small space, whether it is a cottage or a small apartment. The lightness of space that white creates is romantic, open, and uplifting. Two cans of pale aqua and pure white semigloss took care of tables, picture and mirror frames, lamp bases, hat boxes, even the armoire. Before I started, I took all decor down and put back only that which I truly loved. It's not easy to disconnect with some things, but to get the fresh space, it has to be done. I can always rotate items. Curtains, sofa slipcover, bedroom sheets & pillows Target. White soft throw & pillows, sliver candle pedestal, & glass votives Pier One. Mint julep cups Michaels. Even the table coverint is an extra curtain panel. Bedroom throw TJ Maxx. This really was so ridiculously low budget, but the results are fabulous., Living Rooms Design
