  • Modern space in country atmosphere!, Our living room went from dark paneled walls tiled ceilings and 60's blue carpet to light toasted almond walls sleek ceilings and modern bamboo floors. Our house is very small at around 780 sq. ft. on the first floor. We wanted to make this as sleek and light as possible to make the space feel larger than it actually is. We purchased a modern neutral colored couch and added the pop of color with curtains throw pillows and a rug to tie the room together. , Living Rooms Design

  • my fab kitchen redo, You had to see the 'before' pics to truly appreciate what we did! unfortunately I didn't save them:( But I went through sooo much to get this kitchen done. There were yellow/orange mapple cabinets with all black appliances and a black sink!. A very high BB bar and microwave was set in the island so it was really hard to bend every time to use the microwave. We have a very small space. We did a total demo of the kitchen, so there was nothing left! I wish I had worked with a designer because there are things I would have done different, i.e.... kept the SS appliances w/o paneling. But in the end I do love my brand new kitchen:) All the cabinets were made custom by a local cabinet maker, I made the hood, the buffet, and the island in espresso stain and the cabinets in off-white. I hunted around for the best price on everything. We still have to finish the lighting and yes get some counter stools!, Kitchens Design

  • Impossible to arrange , Long slender room with many door & window openings make it impossible to arrange furniture.A fireplace in the center of the outside wall flanked by a long window & a door to the patio leaves no room for furniture. The patio is covered so very little natural light gets in & it doesn't help that the furniture is dark & oversiazed also. There is a large opening to the kitchen/backdoor entry and another door leading to the hall. The walls are painted a sponged faux finish that I would like to change. It has new natural bamboo flooring & trey ceilig.Husband insists on keeping his wingbacked recliner., Living Rooms Design

  • Simple Design to bring the outside in, Kitchen Incorporates the stone from the exterior of the house, with natural cherry frameless cabinets, granite counters, commercial grade stainless steel appliances, and natural maple floors. The door with the glass insert that is visible in the pictures leads into our walk in pantry that is approximately 60sq' with an extra full size stainless steel refrigerator and commercial grade chrome wire racking. With the panty the lack of upper cabinets is not something that affects storage space. This is the second kitchen I have designed. Our house was built in 2008. The first kitchen I designed was in the first house we had built in 1997., Kitchens Design
