Our style sensibility is Crate & Barrel and Room and Board- sleek and simple. Please weigh in on the colors. Thanks and blessings for visiting our very first home!!, Living Rooms Design

  • Monochromatic Playful Bathroom, This is a contemporary bathroom I created in a family members guest house. There is a monochromatic 3D checker-board sphere painted on the wall in two shades of soft blue. The wall was large and needed a soft focal point. I took my inspiration from the texture of the shower curtain & the round CD player. , Bathrooms Design

The overall goal is to make it cozy, warm, and comfortable with the functionality of entertaining. Our initial thoughts are hardwood floors, a flat panel above the fireplace and something to hang on the walls. We're struggling on what to do with the fireplace and the furniture and the paint color and the wall decorations. The room is a lot larger than it looks and has great potential, we just don't know where to start. Please help!, Living Rooms Design

  • my fab kitchen redo, You had to see the 'before' pics to truly appreciate what we did! unfortunately I didn't save them:( But I went through sooo much to get this kitchen done. There were yellow/orange mapple cabinets with all black appliances and a black sink!. A very high BB bar and microwave was set in the island so it was really hard to bend every time to use the microwave. We have a very small space. We did a total demo of the kitchen, so there was nothing left! I wish I had worked with a designer because there are things I would have done different, i.e.... kept the SS appliances w/o paneling. But in the end I do love my brand new kitchen:) All the cabinets were made custom by a local cabinet maker, I made the hood, the buffet, and the island in espresso stain and the cabinets in off-white. I hunted around for the best price on everything. We still have to finish the lighting and yes get some counter stools!, Kitchens Design

  • My simple yet cozy familyroom, When I first bought the house, I had a modest budget for decorating. The pics are what I was able to do. My family room is simple but cozy. I would love some ideas on what I could do to spice it up a bit. The only thing I have changed since I took this picture was the lamp. The new lamp is larger and more in scale for the room., Living Rooms Design
