  • Transitional Master Bath with Claw Foot Tub, Just finished the renovation on my master bathroom I replaced the soaker tub with a claw foot tub that I got for $90 because it had a little scratch on it that you can barely see! It makes the space much more open. I replaced the vanity with one I got on ebay ($900) which has a beautiful travertine counter top and 2 vessel sinks built in. I used brown grass cloth on the walls that looks like linen. Got the mirrors at Zgallery and splurged on the seamless shower doors. The lights, faucets, and towel warmer came from Signature Hardware. (They are online), Bathrooms Design

  • DIY Asian Inspired Spa Bathroom, We converted our 70's bathroom to an Asian inspired, comfortable place to relax. Features a slipper soaking tub, a steam shower and a flat screen to watch HGTV. No contractors, designers, or other professionals were used in the making of this remodel!

We have had so many comments about our tub, I wanted to share the link where we purchased it: http://www.bathtubsfactorydirect.com

Vanity was purchased from Costco, as was the additional storage unit. Paint is Autumn Fog Valspar from Lowes.

  • Relaxing Master Bath, We currently have this home on the market. It is located in Missouri in the Branson School District. For more information and to look at a virtual tour, the MLS number is 341835. Would make a great permanent residence or vacation home.
When designing this bathroom I knew I wanted the bathtub the main focus. The trim carpenters did an excellent job making my vision a reality. , Bathrooms Design

  • Her Master Bath Renovation, My better half decided to take on a re-grouting project in our shower. The tiles immediately started falling off the wall. She expanded the project to a full bath renovation. She did all of the work (except plumbing, granite and moving the TV ) including demo, new framing, drywall installation and mud, enclosing new steam/shower, Kerdi system, tile, light in shower, changed light fixtures, etc. , Bathrooms Design

  • Making the most of our tiny Master Bathroom, Measures 5-1/2 feet by 9-1/2 feet. The old Roman bathtub took up 1/3 of the bathroom and the toilet was too close to the sink. We gutted everything to the studs, put in a double vanity, moved the toilet over 6 inches and put in a large custom travertine shower. The hardwood floors were treated with poly in the tongue and groves to prevent water damage. I plastered the walls using an imperfect-smooth finish. We replaced the old vanity light with 3 pendants and installed mini halogens. We needed to go vertical to use every inch of space. The cabinets are actually 3 wall cabinets stacked for more storage., Bathrooms Design

  • Master Bath................... with an In"spa"rational View!, We found this Spec-Home in Mid-Construction and were able to find discounted tumbled marble and travertine accents to add to the builders basic beige tile. The wooded view in summer is amazing but in winter privacy is an issue. I added sheer embroidered fabric to the screens which lets in the light and the view and is removeable when things "green up" again in the spring., Bathrooms Design

  • Master Bath Redo, We moved from NY to Michigan into a beautiful, old English Tudor home. The master bath was very quaint. It had a claw foot tub, small shower stall and pedestal sink. Although quaint, not functional. We opted to enlarge the shower and put in up and down shower jets. His and her vanities were also the answer to our storage problems., Bathrooms Design
