  • All Hands Below Deck, This is a basement of some former neighbors. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this for myself. It looks unbelievably realistic, so much so, that I felt like I was swaying while inside. So much detail went into this, they started back in 1986 and haven't stopped working on it. Great attention has been paid to the smallest of details. This is by far the coolest and most unique basement I have seen, I really wanted to share it with everyone., Basements Design

  • Our Family Room renovation -- need help, This is a redo of our family room. We recently had the wainscoting custom made, painted the walls, and installed a new berber carpet. (Walls had been a cold white, before.) The fourth wall has stairs to the next level and two tall oak bookcases, with clocks and books in it. I need help figuring out what to do with the TV wall. The decor is slightly nautically inspired, because of my boat photos, a framed favorite nautical chart, and some cheap boat models. TV is not a big part of our life, but we will have to get a new TV soon -- and thus another kind of cabinet for it. , Living Rooms Design

  • Transportation Themed Boys Room, I've nearly completed my sons room . There are still little tweaks here & there that need to be completed...binding the area rugs adding headlights to the bus (which I can fathom how I forgot) & the floors need work where we removed wall to wall. Everything in this room was either handmade handpainted sewn or contructed by me. I had help with the construction of the bed but it was my design.
