This is my final paint job! Remember the green disaster? Well first it was bright yellow then blah cream then turquoise green (definitely by mistake! and now sage green. I think i finally found the right color. What do you think?

The kitchen was our first remodel attempt on our “new” old house. Working with a tight budget we were able to reface the existing cabinets which were quite solid and add new doors. We left the existing flooring and backsplash but added a new countertop and sink. All new hardware light fixtures appliances and some paint finished the space. The worst part of the remodel: scraping the popcorn ceiling and filling the numerous nail holes from the paneling.

My daughter is renting a house so we were unable to make major changes but here is what we have so far! The BEFORE pics are with her so I will post them later. Still working on dressing the walls and hoping the landlord will let us replace the flooring

Our house was built in 1987 and it is time to give the kitchen a makeover! I am hoping to make it look more modern in hopes of offsetting the fact that it is so small. We almost did not buy this house because of the galley kitchen. Any and all suggestions are welcome!! THANK YOU!

This is my kitchen before and after. The cabinets were relatively new in the house, but the yellow stain was not my friend, so rather than replace them I decided to paint! But which color, white to lighten the room, or sage green? Why, how about both! I adore how they turned out complete with vintage glass knobs!

My 700sqft 2 bedroom condo in downtown Boston. I moved in about six months ago and the living room is finally starting to take shape. I found most of the major furnishings for the space but it still feels cold and lacks personality

We just moved to this house a few months ago and we are wanting to customize it a bit - right now it looks just like all of the other kitchens in our subdivision. The cabinets are Maple Toffee and we have black speckled Corian counter tops with Bisque appliances. We are looking at adding crown molding a tile backsplash and knobs/pulls. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Cooking is my therapy. I would rather cook than go out to eat. Every once in a while it's nice but I love to cook for my family. My kids love to make more work / help me. I wanted the decor to be country because it reminds me of what really matters. It's a simple theme but a strong statement. FAMILY!

I don't have the before photos but this room used to have white washed floors and cabinets. I have since painted the cabinets with a cream color and edged the cabinets with a wood stain. I would love to get new appliances also wanting to put granite on the island I want new barstools and a new nook table.

With the help of my mom dad sister and husband we were able to transform a dated kitchen into a fun shabby chic theme. The walls are a clean sage green and I bought shabby chic placemats and rugs from Target to accent with pinks and reds. The cabinets were there but we added the beadboard. I originally called this french country but based on comments left by you guys I realized it's more shabby chic so I updated descrip. Let me know if you have any suggestions or changes. I hope you like it!

Our modest ranch style home was built in 1964, in Rancho Bernardo (San Diego, CA. It has had several updates throughout the years...but nothing as complete as our most recent redo. We exposed the rafters and put in skylights to brighten the usually dark ranch style kitchen... added granite counters, a stone backsplash (we did it ourselves and new rustic alder cabinets. We love the results and hope you do, too.

The Kitchen in my 1935 Colonial home has had many changes since I first toured the home in 1998. I had even a tighter budget then I do now in 1999 when I just had to cover up that UGLY orange vinyl floor. The white looked better but showed ALL the dirt so I redid the floors again with a style that will hide the dirt. As with my other rooms downstairs, the walls have panelling. I papered them, then I faux painted them, finally I have spackled and painted them a sage green. The cabinets were dark and outdated. About 6 years ago I painted them to look like natural wood with a faux wood graining tool. Well, I didn't really know what I was doing and I couldn't really find the right colors. I don't like the style of the doors but I did change to brushed nickel knobs. Now we have a local Lowes. We redid the counter (granite is not in the budget, added a tile backsplash and I used stainless steel paint to update the applicance. My dream is to someday remove four layers of flooring and install tile, get new stainless steel appliances and new lighting/ceiling. Finally I really want to get new shaker style doors and reface them in a medium maple finish (honey maple maybe. But for now, this is what I have. Maybe Angelo can help.
