  • A Modern and Gender Neutral Nursery, We are expecting out first child due Jan. 7th. Since we are not finding out the sex of the baby we had to design the nursery as a gender neutral room. We chose sage green and brown as our 2 main colors. We spruced it up with wall art and a wall decal above the crib., Nurseries Design

  • Chocolate, Teal & Sage Nursery (close up pics added 12/9), For Broderick's nursery we chose a distinguished yet fun color palate of chocolate teal & sage. The deep espresso furniture offsets the light tan wall color and compliments the bright teal blue and soft sage green of the paisley crib bumper. The canvas prints are photographs ‘Mommy’ took in the first few weeks home from the hospital. The flat panel TV is wired for satellite and helps these brand new parents cope with late night feedings. We truly enjoy this room and hope you do too!, Nurseries Design

  • Stylish...Sweet....and Simple!, Robin's egg blue, chocolate brown, sage green and soft white fill this nursery with a soothing and peaceful feeling!
My oldest daughter wanted to create a storybook nursery for her first baby.... so, what she wants, she gets! What are grandmothers for? Right?
We pulled together a beautiful Pali crib and changing table along with a chest we stripped and refinished. Hunted down the comfy chocolate, overstuffed glider/ottoman.... And shopped for all the little extras! Were still waiting on the vinyl lettering (Hey diddle, diddle....) to wrap the room for the finishing touch!
I think it turned out very sweet and my daughter loves it too! , Nurseries Design

  • Horizontal Stripes and Polka Dots for Girls: Pink, Teal, Lime, Tan, Two little princesses started with a plain light gray room. With the purchase of new bunk beds & new polka dot bedding, we needed something girly to jazz up the new space. We taped off horizontal stripes to coordinate, and the attached bath uses polka dots in the coordinating colors and the same princess theme. It uses bubble gum pink, lime green, light teal/turquoise, and tan/khaki. The wall of baskets was pricey but is invaluable storage for toys and such. The whole project was kid-friendly and fun and on a budget., Girls' Rooms Design

  • Greatroom and Kitchen, I'm so proud of my friend and client. This is her 1st home. She saved $2200 to use for a new living room and kitchen design. We started with a writing table and dinning table/chairs which she found last year for $50.00 at a discount store. Thanks for visiting!, Living Rooms Design

  • Before and After, Pitched a design to my contractor and he came through for me. Wanted to bring back some of the 1940's carector by using a cedar composite (easy to take care of), also wanted to create layers of texture, contrast and color.

The sider has a technique of creating a "J" channel with the trim, you can see this on the windows, by doing this he doesnt have to "J" channel the windows with the normal "J" channel, it gives it a nice clean look around the windows.

I still need to do some work on the fence, walkway and garage but this part of the exterior was the biggest that needed to be done. There was 5! layers of shingles on the roof. We estimated that to about 9 tons of shingles!, Home Exterior Design

  • Chocolate Brown, Green and White Bedroom - Reuse / Repurpose, This room was done for a very sweet young girl with specific needs. It was important that her space be cozy and organized. Due to her conditions, it was imperative that we relocate a lot of the clutter/toys.

In an effort to keep costs down, we re-purposed whatever items we could.

After the room was finished, the little girl was able to stay in her room the entire night, and has ever since then. This made her parents very happy. You can view more photos at
