  • Tranquil Master Bedroom, Our master was a creation of my inner designer. I have ocean blue for the paint color, ***(EXACT COLOR: We used ULTRA interior latex midtone base 41-1215 paint in eggshell. The color is 53D-4 Serene Stream) We purchased the paint at a local home improvement store, called Menard's. ****accompanied by a 4 post modern meets traditional bed, matching chest and side table. I selected a white modern sofa table for added flare then refurbished an old piece of furniture and made it into a media cabinet. I selected interesting eclectic pieces for accessories. I have an extremely modern ceiling fan, and side table lamp. The white carpet came with the home and I would love to have dark African cherry wood floors., Bedrooms Design

  • Shabby Chic Refurbished Yellow and Green Sitting Area, I created this sitting area at the landing of my staircase from three pieces I refurbished and reimagined from a garage sale. I repaired an old chair white washed it and covered it with new yellow fabric with green polka dots. I salvaged an awful 70's lamp for the green glass to create what you see here. • My Master Bedroom- Blue ,white and neutrals, Master bedroom with tons of budget friendly ideas. Because the mixture of old and new and the unique peices found in antique shops and auctions over the years it is timeless. The room was built 12 years ago on the 1865 farmhouse. Changing decorative pillows and buying a new lamp or two the room can be freshened up easily. I change the bedding with the blankets and sheets beings mix and matchable every time I change the sheets. I have collected some of these things over 30 years. In another house they can be used in different ways. The sheets are stored under the bed in baskets. I had the bed custom made a bit higher to allow for the storage baskets under it. We all have our favorite things.. I hope you like mine.!, Bedrooms Design

  • My Refurbished Hall Bath, When I bought my first house the bathroom looked as if it came right out of the 60's! Micro tile on the floor, dingy yellow toilet, peeling caulk in the tub, a short home made vanity with peeling paint that was appealing to nobody! I couldn't stand it. One weekend with my dad and its a entirely new bathroom! New clean tile, new dual flush toilet, fresh paint, and a brand new vanity, along with a new caulk job in the toilet and I'm no longer embarrassed to let my friends use the hall bath!! • the transformers, this dining room makeover was a fun project friend just purchased a new home which is absolutely beautiful. The dining room was already painted red ( a favorite color) we added the table which we painted and recovered the seats. A custom made window treatment was added and monongrammed. we then accessorized to make a wonderfully elegant dining room. The side table my friend refinished and choose the canvas art work as his wall decor'. , Dining Rooms Design

  • Kitchen Repost, To take away from the monotony of the oak cupboards, instead of painting them, a bit scared, I replaced some of the wood panels with glass. I added an island pendant light and painted the bottom of the dresser black. I made a new valence for the door and I changed the small clock for a much larger one. , Kitchens Design
