  • Fireplace Reface, It was time to update our fireplace. As the main focal point of our living room, the old-style cedar siding was not cutting it. We decided to reface our fireplace with stone veneer. We placed a stained wood mantel on and rocked below. Also re-tiled the hearth to match. Couldn't be more happy with the results, and guests can't help but notice it when they come over., Living Rooms Design

  • Redone Brick Fireplace and Paneled Room, I love the changes my husband has done to our 1972 Ranch house living room. Dark walnut floors instead of orange shag carpeting he pulled down the paneling and sheetrocked scraped popcorn and put in recessed lighting. Granite and hand made corbels make the fireplace more traditional. The room is soft welcoming and just wonderful. Not as yellow as it looks in some pictures more soft gold. , Living Rooms Design

  • Victorian Fireplace, Before and after pictures of the restored fireplaces. All the mantels are original - and you can see that they still need some work. They were originally coal burning but we went back in with reproduction coal burning units using propane. The units and tiles were bought from a man in Maine that ships them over from England. These were a big investment but I couldn't imagine having anything else! Now I'm so glad we did it - they are unique and add so much to the rooms., Living Rooms Design
