  • Bedroom needs help, In five year I can't decide what color to paint my bedroom walls or how to decorate it. Do I try to make the windows look as one? I would love to have a romatic bedroom but don't know how to go about it. I have a head and footboard that matches our dressers but it is a queen size and our bed is a king size. This room is a good size and has so much potential if only I could figure out what to do with it. HELP! I am open to changing anything!, Bedrooms Design

  • Attic renovation HELP!, I would like to turn our attic into a useable bedroom; however it's currently infested with a BAT COLONY! We need to replace the roof before we can get rid of the bats or renovate the attic. We've already got a quote for both a new roof and bat exclusion. I would like some tips on how this attic space would turn out after we get rid of the bats and would like to know if it would still be safe to use the attic for living space after the bats are cleaned up. Would like to do this as cost effective as possible. HELP!, Other Spaces Design

  • Scary Attic, The Scary Attic is very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. It has old tube wiring, old wood floors and uninsulated, but we have Pink Panther Insulation just sitting on the floor. The previous owner built a semi closet, but never finished it. When you touch everything, a black soot is left on your hand. It is cluttered and has become a place just for things because you do not know where to place them.., Other Spaces Design

  • Attic Mezzanine--organization!, My husband and I hated the wasted space in our attic above our coffered ceiling over the bedroom--so we built a 12 x 16 mezzanine over the coffered ceiling. There is a 7 ft clearance above the ceiling so it allows us a lot of extra space!, Garages Design

We have this space upstairs about 700 sq ft we would like help making into a master suite. we are in one rm and the kids (daughter 9yrs & son 18mo) share a room. The space upstairs is used as a spare room/office. There is a bathroom directly below one of the dormer areas. Where do we start?, Bedrooms Design

  • EMBARRASSING Attic Master Suite!, This is the attic of my house, it runs the whole length of the house, with the stairs arriving at the back end of the room overlooking the backyard. The daybed is at the landing. Then you turn and see the whole length of the room to a door. That door opens to our bedroom area. There are three closets -- one out in the open, one in the master with a door and one opposite the bathroom with a door. The wallboards are terrible, the color is terrible. We have goog pieces of furniture, I think, but I cannot figure out how to make it more user friendly. It is a bungalow and that is my style - kind of traditional bungalow with a few modern twists for fun., Bedrooms Design
