We are so close to being finished with our cottage kitchen remodel. We still need to add corbels under the cabinets, paint the trim, add beadboard, and install a faux fireplace in the dining area. With the exception of installing the brick backsplash, we've done all the work ourselves over the course of the last three years., Kitchens Design

  • Blue House, We are thinking about selling our home and we are trying to come up with ways to maximize the curb appeal. Someone suggested painting the red brick veneer and porch. Everyone I ask seems to agree that the red brick has to go. The brick is not in the best of shape. Painting brick scares me and I really don't want to mess it up. Painting the rest of the house is not an option financially. Any advice or suggestions would help immensely!, Home Exterior Design

  • Oh Baby! Lou Lou's Got Style!, What gets my heart pounding more than a room to organize and decorate? Just about nothing. So believe me, when my hubby and I found out we'd be parents to a fourth child, I was over-the-top excited about a new room to design. I adore kids' rooms almost as much as I adore the actual kids. Little Miss Louisa was reason enough to celebrate, but her room to decorate was the icing on the cake! I wanted to avoid the ordinary pinks and purples. I wanted a room that exuded girly-ness and class. I wanted a space that was fit for a baby but would grow with a child. What evolved became the perfect place for our Little Miss Louisa.

  • Red Haute Holiday, This vibrant Christmas tree design was inspired by all things rich and red. Using a white tree for my holiday backdrop allows me to add bold color and plenty of sizzle to my design. I love incorporating unique ornaments in my holiday designs. I used all things red and haute! This fabulous design included red over-sized butterflies, sequin balls, ruby red jewels, boots with bling, waves of velvet ribbon and for a touch of whimsy, velvet feathers, green and black beaded animal print balls. And the piece of resistance is the topiary-style tree topper made from red velvet roses., Holidays Design
