  • Reclaimed Kitchen, My husband and I rescued these cabinets from being thrown in the trash. We sanded, stained, added new doors and hardware and modified them to fit our kitchen and installed a new back splash. We got the granite at a wholesale outlet, the sink and faucet on sale at Lowes. The biggest cost was refinishing the wood floor after we discovered it under layers of glue and linoleum. Our kitchen was low cost, lots of labor but worth it! PLEASE VIEW ALL PICS AND GIVE US YOUR COMMENTS...we welcome them! The BEFORE pictures of our kitchen can be viewed under lifetimedvd1 pictures. THANK YOU!, Kitchens Design

  • Kitchen, This space is our kitchen. We chose two somewhat unusual materials for this room. We used reclaimed rusted corrigated metal for the ceilings, and stained concrete for the floors. We placed a 14'-0" x 6'-0" island at the center of the space, and wrapped the base in cultured stone. Keeping with the rustic country feel, we hung elk horns from the rafter with rope and attached pendant lights., Kitchens Design

  • Guest Room, I love contemporary mixed with industrial design. It is difficult making a rental your own, but luckily the landlord let me paint an accent wall which set off this custom headboard I made. I added a planter because I believe the outside should always be reflected inside in almost any room. Because this room is small, a side table was too bulky; I added a floating stainless steel shelf and kept the lamp clear so as to not visually fill the space up too much. , Bedrooms Design

  • ~Fallin' up the Dining Room!~, After the move across country, it seems to be taking me a long time this time getting the house pulled together! Semi-finished the dining room and added some fall touches....still waiting on the artwork to go above the buffet, but for now, put an array of different leaning mirrors on it. Maybe we'll get it finished before Christmas!, Dining Rooms Design
