This is the last room that is left of our total house renovation. We bought a 1890's farm house that we have gutted and gutted again.... And so, here is the last room of the renovation process.....

I love my kitchen! The reno began with a notion to move the island to improve the flow, creating an ‘eat-in’ kitchen with a new farm table. We ended up doing a full renovation. We did the work ourselves other than installing the granite. Our new kitchen makes me want to cook more and try out new recipes!

Our townhome's master bath was made in the 80's....and had not been redone since! It had a small bath/shower unit that looked like an irish springs soap bar, a single vanity and a wall mirror. It was a hidden and used as a junk closet for a few years there out of embarrassment... We began working on it in April. ("we"=my husband.
We found a self-enclosed steam shower unit from a local dealer advertising on Craig's list. The dealer was trying to clear a showroom of 2008 units. While there, we found a modern double vanity with vessel sinks for less than $800....in addition, found a jacuzzi tub....for a steal. We were on a roll off of Craig's list, where we found a nice low-profile (working, not cracked toilet for about $50 (changed the seat :..., and also found bamboo hardwoods for less than $60 to cover our entire <100 square feet master bath. We picked up a mirror from Ikea for less than $60, and there we go! Our pendants came from home depot and my husband put in recessed lighting on a dimmer. I found the fixtures off of West Elm's clearance "aisle" off their website.
My husband did all the plumbing (copper, PVC, hardwooding, and crown molding (unfinished at the time in the pictures by himself during his off-time from work. We love our new bathroom!!!

We are in the middle of remodeling our small master bathroom. It is about 10 by 5 feet. We will be replacing the tub/shower with a walk in & tiled shower, getting a whole new vanity, installing recessed lighting and re-texturing/painting all the walls. I don't know if I've left anything out but I hope you enjoy the transformation!

The original space was very outdated with light blue laminate countertops and very poor lighting that only came from a ceiling fan. Recessed cans were installed along with undercabinet lighting. The style achieved is a mix between traditional and modern. The client like the cottage feel of the antique flooring, backsplash, and the colors that we chose but they seemed to stick with simple clean lines. The white and black range will be replaced down the road with a stainless steel one which will blend in with the rest of the space rather than stand out! I hope you like this space, its my first official design!. :

Our overall style is traditional, but we love to throw in modern elements and great lighting for a clean, crisp look. This space in our home is relatively small, but we've tried to maximize every square inch. The secretary in the corner holds a TV and still serves as a desk and storage. The furniture positioning allows for easy movement in the room and visibility for the TV.

We replaced our 2 table lamps with 11 5-inch air-tight recessed cans, and we also replaced our armoire-style computer desk with an L-Shaped two-tone desk. Before, our living was more of a "pass-thru", now our living room has much more "ambience" with the dimmable recessed lights, which also means it can be well lit for other activities. The new "office space" is also a great place to do bills, home-work for the kids, and/or just surf the net.

Contemporary Living Room. We just remodeled it about a year ago. It got a complete face lift. It did have bright green carpet, dark paneling and original windows. We gutted it and had it drywalled, new windows installed, recessed lighting put in the ceiling, crown molding installed, new light fixtures, and carpet installed. We painted the walls gray and the ceiling white. We were going to go with hardwood floors but my husband insisted on carpet. He is always on his feet so when he's home he needs the added comfort. We also went with gray carpet to give it a cleaner more cohesive feeling. Plus it helps the other pieces in the room stand out.. Like our main focal point in the room..the fireplace.

This kitchen started out bland with blue countertops and a dance floor in the middle. We jazzed it up with granite countertops, tile floor and custom 10" crown moldings with black insets. We removed some upper cabinets and built a center island from the material so everything would match. The granite tied it all together and it is an absolute dream to cook in! Undermount lights and recessed lighted really brought the space to life.
