  • An eccentric and colorful foyer, We live in a raised ranch home so the entryway is very small. After moving in I decided I wanted to have a gallery wall of my children's artwork as a special little welcoming for guests., Other Spaces Design

  • Raised Ranch living room, This is a work in progress but I'd love to get suggestions as I am going. We just bought the house and we painted it Olive and gold/tan. I plan to remove the blue rug the house came with. Please make sure you look through the photos so you can see what our before photo was. Also any suggestions on how to hide the A/C would be awesome. I do not plan on removing it or relocating it at this time., Living Rooms Design

  • Need Ideas to liven up my1969 Raised Ranch...!, I purchased the house a year ago, I don't really know where to start. Any ideas on sprossing up would be greatly appreciated. The house was built in 1969 and it hasn't been updated inside or out since it was built. Its a great house i love the layout. Getting groceries up the stairs is a little challenging though. All the bedrooms are upstairs as well as the kitchen and living room. Downstairs is the foyer, half bath, laundry, great room with a fireplace, and a one car garage. On the back of the house there is a step up patio that has a door that leads out of the garage, and a second story deck leading off the kitchen. The curb appeal at the moment consist of monkey grass and a huge hydrangea bush, And an odd shaped walkway to the door. Its located in a cute cul-de-sac., Home Exterior Design

  • Updated foyer in 70's Raised Ranch, We recently decided to update the very small footprint of our foyer by trying to create "drama" at the top of the stairs. It was a lot of empty space that needed a focal point. We had the walls faux painted and added the ceiling treatment and new chandelier., Living Rooms Design

  • Modern kitchen with large island, Before the kitchen was closed off from the living room. I decided to tear down the wall to have that open floor plan that most buyers are looking for. I built all the maple cabinets myself in the garage. The slate backsplash was originally 16 inch square tiles that I cut into 2 inch strips with a commerial wet saw. I then staggered each row but not like a brick wall. Each row is offset a different length than the row above and below. The whole house now seems to revolve around the kitchen. , Kitchens Design

  • What is this place??? , This is our basement. We are in a raised ranch so this is a VERY used space. It is where I would love to be able to entertain while the kids play. We just aren't sure how or what to do. The fireplace is practically hidden and everything just feels cold and wasted. Please help with any and all ideas other than just burning it down and starting from scratch. (trust me, i thought about it. haha), Basements Design
