It's not your typical baby girl nursery with its blue walls, white furniture antique mirrors, aged shutters with storage baskets hanging on them and shabby chic accents.
We love it and hope you do too!

This is my upstairs bathroom designed for my 2 children. I wanted it to be fresh, clean, & reflect the kids. I used cream paint w/whilte chair rall & wainscoting. I purchased a white cabinet for $30 cut off the top & replaced it w/granite & an undermount sink. I found a fun mirror for $8. I purchased the accessories at pottery barn: matching curtain, mat, towels, & plates that I put on the wall for art. I used the same granite from the sink on the windowsill & over the baseboard below. I used fun blue title in the bath & white tile w/fun blue inserts on the floor. In order to fit the towels, I put them on the door & had the door swing out instead of the normal in to create more room. Finally, I used all crome fixtures throughout.

I had so much fun creating this space. A lot of what you see are DIY projects. My mom (first time grandma ; helped me pick out the fabrics and made the bedding and window treatments. My sister, Lauren, is an amazing artist, and so she did the art work. I did a lot of the knick knacks in the room- the frames, the lampshade and the shadowboxes (which are still a work in progress. Enjoy :

My new little business, Lara Mark Designs, took off with my debut of a sweet baby girl's nursery. With different shades of pinks, lots of flowers, polka dots, stripes and extra special touches, a very special baby girl was welcomed into this world...and she's gonna love her room!

We moved up to a big girl room. We purchased the bed from Rooms to Go Kids and the bedding from Pottery Barn Kids. We were looking for a style that was still playful for a child, but fit the style of our house. We have finally finished her room. We are very proud of the work.

This is my 2 year old's nursery. We are about to completely change it for her "big girl room" and I realized I'd never taken any pictures of it! We moved when she was 1 year old, and this room was a little awkward with her furniture, so we did the best we could. I'm not really needing ideas b/c we are about to change it - I just wanted to share. Thanks!

I wanted a nursery that my daughter could sleep and play in but that I enjoyed being in as well. This space is something she can grow in. I love coming in here because its just so comfy! The furniture is pottery barn and partially inspired the decor. All of the paint is Ethos but matched to Benjamin Moore colors. The wall paint is Pink Cherub, the ceiling is candy stripe, the wall behind the crib, animals and polka dots are Kona. The hot pink accents on the mural are rhododendron. I found images for the mural from etsy and then projected them on the wall and traced them and painted them. The pom poms are from etsy as well. The glider is used but I found slipcovers online for $200 so now its Ivory! The shelves are from Home Depot. If you have additional questions as to where I got something, just let me know :

We still need to paint the walls we just moved in but here is a start to our nursery. We used the Pottery Barn Kids Springtime Meadow for the bumper & dust ruffle. The armoire has been passed down through generations I painted the photos on the walls to go with the Springtime meadow theme. We are going to paint the walls a light green. There is a cherry wood changing table & toy box on the other walls & I painted a Caterpillar with my sons name on it to go over the toy box.

This is my daughter's new room! I was so excited to decorate a little girl's room. Everything was done around the bedding, which my mom made for me. I love how it turned out!

I transformed my son's toddler room into a bright, colorful Nautical themed room with a few Pirate accessories thrown in. It all started with some amazing bedding from Pottery Barn Kids. Then a added a few built-in bookcases, a plank wall and some paint. I love the new look and so does my son!
My husband and I created this nursery as we awaited the adoption of our first child. We choose a unisex theme because we were not gender specific in having a baby placed with us. Enjoy!

Thanks for all the suggestions. My son insisted that I paint the shelf red and he even helped. I added the mural this afternoon and I am calling this space complete. I finally got the "It's perfect!" from my son.

We redecorated my son's room for his 8th birthday. He wanted a military room so we went to an army surplus store and bought some camo netting and accessories. I purchased camo bedding from PBTeen and I used the flat sheets to make him a fort. We also bought some cubbies so he could easily display and organize his things.
