  • SUMMER BREEZE...MAKES ME FEEL FINE, Sheers on the porch sway in the breezes...they give the porch a romantic up-in-the-clouds feeling. Swing chains are covered with fabric cord covers and an old hutch was painted for china storage. The porch was pre-wired for music and I would love for you to visit my blog where you can hear what's usually playing out on the porch: http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/. Thanks so much for stopping by my RMS friends...please have a glass of iced tea and a cookie before you leave. :-), Porches Design

  • After Fire Porch, wonderful 2nd floor porch facing golf course, attached to a 1980's house that had a fire recently and had to be completely redone on the inside. The porch is the only portion of the house that did not get updated, darn it.We use it year round. It is difficult to entertain and cook at the same time, Porches Design

  • New porch for the cottage, Built a new front porch on my 1941 cottage. The original brick porch had a small step off the front door which was a tripping hazard. My goal was to level the surface while giving the porch an old fashion feel of porches long ago. I used a composite decking material for low maintenance. I beefed up the small 4 X 4 porch post with a more substantial 8 X 8 column wrap and added a porch rail. I also added moldings over the front door to dress it up. The porch is now a wonderful place to sit in the morning sun and greet my neighbors as they pass by., Porches Design
