  • Aladdin Mural Room, Everyone knows my youngest baby just graduated from college..sigh......but i wanted to share how i did her room when she was little. She was a tricky child, always noticing she was supposed to be top dog of the house. We move into a house, she had a playroom, pool, swingset, sandbox, 48thousand toys, bikes, games, you name it, not to mention 6 new friends her age in the cul-de-sac and what does this half pint say??? "why do i have to get the small room"........we all laughed, and said "because you're the smallest???? duh???".........lord help me not kill this child!!!!!!!! SO, Mommies as we are, quick thinking dynamos, I had to think of how to make this room not ''small'' in the eyes of miss prissy......hmmmmm OK, BINGO, paint a garden mural to elongate the space visually!! ........i turned on her favorite movie downstairs and spent the next few weeks running up and down the stairs, looking, then quick up to paint more, then down, looking, then quick up to paint more.......Viola!! it's not the ""small room' anymore Princess, it's the special mural room!!!!!!'' Needless to say, i didn't dare paint any more murals in the house or it would make her room not special anymore and she'd be back in our bed!!!!!! lol.........lord they drive ya crazy, but there's nothing like an angel sleeping in her dreamy bedroom is there? I sure miss those bedtime story hours, but having an adult daughter is amazing, until i get grandbabies, i have my cats and doggies....., Girls' Rooms Design
