  • Fun and Playful Bedroom, My son is 4 years old and has a billion toys and more energy than the energizer bunny. I wanted his room to be educational playful and clutter free. He helped with the room from beginning to end. He decided what color he wanted which words it wanted up on his walls and which toys he wanted out on the shelves. He really loves his room. , Boys' Rooms Design

  • Playful Play Room, This is our children's living room... as tidy as it gets. We painted the paneling-removing it would have torn the plaster off the walls. We striped one wall for spunk and added red accents. We removed the drop ceiling and lowered the crown molding to meet the paneling; the ceiling color comes 18" down the walls. We used the kids' artwork for the walls.. We painted cork squares hung in a grid for decoration and function. I really like it but don't quite love it. What does it need?, Living Rooms Design

  • Not so playful Playroom, We don't know how to make this ugly and useful built-in pretty. The insets on the doors are cheap laminate and don't even match the rest of the wood. The mirror behind it is terrible. Love to have beadboard but since the mirror can't be removed (easily) how do you put something over it?Dark green indoor/outdoor carpet has got to go. Tile is prolly our best option since we also raise dogs. This room needs to be light bright playful and functional., Living Rooms Design

  • Moonstruck Lullaby, When we moved to our new home we were so far from city lights that the nights of a full moon looked magical. I wanted my son to have that magic everynight and was inspired to create a unique nursery that would transfer into a boy's room easily. All the textiles were home-made. And the frogs are a tribute to the thousands of frogs we hear at night in the local ponds and creeks. , Nurseries Design
