This is a living/dining room around 20 ft long by 12 ft wide. One wall is mostly windows. Below the windows are metal covers with the heat radiators and air conditioners, so limited space to put anything under them. Need help with the furniture layout and how to incorporate extra storage in the room. I love colors and would like to add some red and purple to the mix. LIke traditional furniture over modern. Want the room to be welcoming and comfortable.

This is a Chicago living room/sunroom combo space. The stain glass windows are original so those are the only thing that I want to stay in the room. I'm so confused with what paint color to paint the walls and ceilings to go with the windows? I would also like any suggestions as to what kind of furniture would fit the space the best and the layout set up. FYI These are pictures of how the sellers had it set up. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

This kitchen space was originally our old small kitchen a dining room hallway and a closet. We took down all the walls and put up a headerfor a larger open floor plan. The entire design including the layout and choice of all materials was my design. The walls are a faux painted stone look that I did myself. The floors are brazilian cherry wood counters are granite and the backsplash is italian tile with rubbed bronze details.

We finally finished the remodeling and now I have a room just for ME!! It is 15' x 18' and houses all my trinkets and toys I need to do my hobby. With so much stuff, its hard to make it nicely decorated and still have items close at hand, but I love it and enjoy being down in the basement in the new rooms.

My living room before had bold yellows, oranges and reds. Living by the water I wanted to change it for spring and summer to the beachy romantic cottage look. I had a budget of 250.00 and I RENT!. So with those constraints I just love what I did with lots of spray paint...hot gluing fabric over foot stools and making curtains.I also used slip covers and made a new chandlier out of a old brass resale shop. Gluing shells on walls, doing a whimsical candelabra painting on the wall over the fireplace and mosiacing a piece of board to fit over the existing red bricks on the fireplace was so much fun. This room will give you tons of ideas on a very small budget. I also uploaded 2 before photos of the colorful room which will go back in fall adding color back into the room and keep a lot of the accessories out.... Enjoy!

When we first toured our (soon-to-be house and walked upstairs to see a large, open living room and master suite, we fell in love. It had worn floors we loved and a nice cozy feel. Since then, we have become first time home buyers and have found ourselves at a loss. We know how much potential the space has, but aren't sure how to unlock it. I don't think we've been successful in subdividing the space, the lack of natural light has been a challenge, and I would love to have a little more definition to the master bedroom. In short... we need help! Feedback and suggestions would be appreciated!
