  • michele's italian kitchen, This kitchen space was originally our old small kitchen a dining room hallway and a closet. We took down all the walls and put up a headerfor a larger open floor plan. The entire design including the layout and choice of all materials was my design. The walls are a faux painted stone look that I did myself. The floors are brazilian cherry wood counters are granite and the backsplash is italian tile with rubbed bronze details. , Kitchens Design

  • Help! Transforming a Bat Cave into a Sustainable Haven, When we first toured our (soon-to-be) house and walked upstairs to see a large, open living room and master suite, we fell in love. It had worn floors we loved and a nice cozy feel. Since then, we have become first time home buyers and have found ourselves at a loss. We know how much potential the space has, but aren't sure how to unlock it. I don't think we've been successful in subdividing the space, the lack of natural light has been a challenge, and I would love to have a little more definition to the master bedroom. In short... we need help! Feedback and suggestions would be appreciated!, Living Rooms Design

  • Shabby Cottage Sun Room - Revised, This is my romantic cottage sun room. The walls are painted Hepplewhite Ivory and the ceiling is a Robbins Egg Blue. This room is the main reason I bought this house. After starting out as a play room for my children I am finally able to make it a place for me. My favorite features are the french doors, glass knobs, thick moldings and old windows. This room has a shabby and coastal influence. I have recently painted some of the furniture pieces to coordinate with this space. I enjoy collecting vintage and antique decorative items at antique stores, thrift stores and estate sales. I will try and update with the 2 new painted pieces and this wonderful vanity I found to use as a desk. It still has to be picked up in New Jersey!!!! I just had to have it. Oddly enough, my husband and sons watch hockey in here most! Go figure!?
