  • My Bourgeois Boudoir, I was going for Italianate style that reminds me of my trip to Italy. 24k gold gilt finials adorn red and gold chenille jacquard draperies the patterns of which are repeated throughout the room. My inspiration piece is a painting of an Italian palace. My other artwork includes two lithographs depicting places I went on my trip and an iron scroll. Dupioni silk bedding from Williams-Sonoma Home tops off my project and plays off the chocolates in my area rug and computer desk., Bedrooms Design

  • Light & Bright...desk area from wasted hall space., Our hallway, from master suite leading to second bedroom suite on other side of the house, was really just wasted space with a curio cabinet and chair that was never used...just collected dust. We refinished two cabinets we've had for over 35 years, stained an unfinished door, used a favorite chair of mine I bought at an Ethan Allen sale a very long time ago, and now it's a bright and useful space to pay bills, use the laptop, and spend time on RMS! , Other Spaces Design

  • Kitchen Remodel - So Cal Tract Home, These were lovely clients of mine who moved to San Diego from Maryland. They purchased a lovely home but wanted a lot of re-decorating and for the kitchen we actually gutted it. They are fans of the "Old World" style; golds, woods with a lot of detail, stone, etc. So, that's what I gave them. I am showing the kitchen and the adjacent family room because they are the same room and I needed to design them to work together. This is one of my favorite designs., Kitchens Design

  • San Diego Living Room Remodel, A living room I designed for a home by the beach. This home is an interesting architecture; it is all on one level and is part contemporary with Spanish elements. The clients' styles are clean lined, clear spaces with no kitsch. As you will see in the BEFORE photos, what they had did not follow their aesthetic. As you will see in the AFTER photos is what they got totally fits them; how their family functions and how they want to see the world around them at home. It was a challenge to do this room, but kudos to my clients for trusting me because I know they are glad they did., Living Rooms Design

A place where I can create new projects, journal, work with my photos, and just feel inspired. , Home Offices Design
