  • Details in Decoupage Floors, Think a decoupage floor has to be plain? How about some nice detailing, also in paper, to add a finishing touch to a room. The overall coloring of the paper was tone on tone but I could use any coloring. This was a basement renovation and this flooring resembled the inlaid wood pattern upstairs in the living room., Living Rooms Design

  • Decoupaged Checkerboard Floors, This basement renovation included the bathroom/laundry room. Freshly painted, the white washer and dryer, along with the cabinetry, go perfectly with the crisp style of checkerboard. The cement floor was smooth but not super level, which is no problem for decoupage! Once finished, it's easy to damp mop clean with no grout line or cracks between tiles to catch dirt., Other Spaces Design

  • Hardwood Flooring? Naaah, it's DECOUPAGE!, Decoupage is such a versatile process. I really had fun creating a hardwood floor look with Kraft paper and paint. The client wanted the whitewashed look but also wanted some variation in the color from plank to plank so it looked more natural. The paper "planks" are butted up against each other so it is super smooth, no wrinkles either. A satin sealer gives the sheen of a real hardwood floor. , Living Rooms Design

  • Master and two guest bedrooms, These pictures speak for themself: This is a 1983 house. The bedrooms are a respectable and adequate size, but, not as large as the ballrooms some people think are necessary to sleep in. You can see the hallway and side of the entry way. The office desk is opposite the atrium window., Bedrooms Design

  • Cape Cod Inspired Yellow Damask Girls Room, Our attempt at understated, feminine elegance without the typical pink palette. This room was designed for a ballet loving, rambunctious 3-year old who will hopefully love it just as much when she is 15. Complete with built-in bookcases, an upholstered window seat, and a petite chandelier...we were even able to squeeze in space for a table with tea set for four, despite cozy dimensions and a challenging ceiling. A large patterned yellow damask wallpaper covers the walls, and hints of pinks and greens are brought in through striped fabrics in the curtains. A vintage, shabby chic dresser was first used as a changing table. We hope you like this space!!, Girls' Rooms Design

  • Old vs. New --- Who won?, The dining room was outdated. My mother's table chairs and hutch with buffet cabinet. We had recently bought the wine cabinet. The wallpaper, rug and heavy custom balloon shades were removed. The hutch was taken down. New light fixture, chairs, curtains and art were added to the newly painted two-tone wall color of a muted turquoise that blended with the other asian-inspired ajoining rooms. , Dining Rooms Design
