My small kitchen was dark with panelled walls and a dropped ceiling. I could not cook in it anymore. The remodel got started and I was tramatized but it came out very nice.

In June of 2008, I redid our master bedroom. I wanted a room that both my husband and I would feel comfortable in. The teal bedding and drapes add a feminine touch while the iron wall hanging, sconces, and shadow boxes add a more masculine feel. The headboard is the focal point of the room because we adding drapery panels behind it. I also had to add a few touches of purple since it is my favorite color.

I posted this remodel as a new room so you could see the difference between the new and old family room (posted as "Old Family Room" under my other spaces. We installed a new linear gas fireplace and panelled the walls. We also re-did the ceiling and installed pot lights and larger crown. We removed the california shutters because I found they darkened the room. I love the outcome !! So much easier to just push a button for a fire. A few new accessories and voila !!!!

I have an old paneled familyroom. Narrow and long. Not many ways to change the furniture around, but needs updating on a tight budget. Would like suggestions for the walls (color and the fireplace, although I like the brick!! Also window treatements and maybe other ways to put my furniture. I really like the quilts, but would like to maybe display them differently. I'll need carpet as this is the only room in the house on a crawlspace and it gets COLD as the sliding door faces west and there is 1/4 mile between it an any other wind blocking trees/houses. I will admit - I'm a terrible decorator!! So, suggestions will be taken seriously. HELP!!

took out all the dark 60's paneling drywalled and painted. The windows used to have heavy curtains and now the view is magnificent overlooking the river

Dark chocolate wall which ties the Dining area and Living Rm together. The Fireplace has simple Birch Wood squares. The modern sofa is a bold statement and is accented w/ brown leather chairs & accent chair. Patio doors in the Dining Room have floor to ceiling fabric panels that slide on a rail system.

Our room was a blank canvas with beige walls and gorgeous floors. We took this space from bland to beautiful with all of out friends commenting on how our space could be off of HGTV! I guess now it will be : Let us know your thoughts; we love our space!

Fun and playful boys room. The bunkbed makes it easy to have lots of space underneath to play. I tried to make the bed look like a ship. Under the bed there are pillows to lounge around and a treasure chest for his treasures!

My husband and I designed this nursery for our first baby. We didn't know what we were having at the time so we kept it gender neutral. We wanted something unique and a space that would grow with our baby. Thanks for checking it out!
