  • Painted fireplace, This is my fireplace after I painted it. The red looked to country for what I wanted in the room. I don't know if I should paint the inside of the fireplace black or leave it.   • Small living room with no wall space. Any ideas?, Our living room is a very awkward space, because each side of the room has either a staircase, french doors, a fireplace, or a huge entryway to the dining room. How can we decorate and arrange it for a more comfy and inviting look?   • Family room fireplace mantel, We had a builder white fireplace for our 3 year-old home. Since we like the updated "öld world European" (Tuscan/French) look with lots of black and brown forged iron we decided to try something new.   • PLEASE HELP! 1970's Nightmare!, We just bought this house and this is my kitchen, it is bare and ready to tear out but I don't know what to do after that! I would like to make more cabinet space. I would also like to take the bulk head above the cabinets out, I Multiple Sclerosis and am diabled so I don't have a large budget but my husband and son can do alot of the work. We bought the house mainly because of the location and the large fenced in yard. I have 12 grandchildren and a dog and needed a place for them to play. But I also love to cook and hate this kitchen so please help me to decide what to do with it.
