Our home is an open floor plan... The kitchen, sunroom, and family room are all connected and open to each other. Eventually when we update the kitchen, we want to do dark granite and extend the bar out further into the sunroom side.

Here is my kitchen table it is wood with black and dark wood. The place mats are red, green, purple, with brown stripes and green stripes. The kitchen has dark brown cabinets, black appliances, and three black leather and dark brown bar stools. The walls are painted Basil green.

We gutted the upstairs dining, kitchen, living and family rooms making a large connected area. Although I love all of the colors, fixtures, flooring, kitchen I cannot figure out the final decorations. I still haven't picked a backsplash because I love the color and haven't found a tile that is as unique as all the other elements in the rooms. Can you help guide me in a direction for decor?

This is our living room space and it's got so much potential but I have no sense of decorating. I tend to lean towards neutrals but want to learn to love color more. Been playing with color apps with BM paints and always come back to blue, blue grey, green, browns and taupe type colors but would like to make this space in particular warm but a little more formal. Furniture is very old antique country style ethan alan that has been with us for 20+ years and really too small for the space? Couch is a toupe color.

The original floor plan for this kitchen was closed off from the adjoining room by it's own cabinetry above the peninsula.

In order to create wall-space to expand the kitchen cabinetry, we removed the french door in the breakfast area.

The new kitchen now offers it's own breakfast area at the island. The new color scheme and layout invite family and friends rather than shut them out.

Kitchen dining and living room in an open floor plan. Need help in trying to tie both areas together including placement of furniture colors etc. The woodwork and kitchen cabinets are dark maple. I'm going to buy all new furniture except my end tables coffee table and entertaiment center which is a light oak. Need couch chairs and a dining room set which will sit between kitchen and sliders.
