  • The White Walled Vaulted Bedroom, I have tried to add some new colors and changes to the room. But I still need some ideas for wall colors. I used my beach photo as impetration to create a beach like environment. However, I am still not sure how to create the relaxing feel. I’m just not sure how to do this. Our bedroom is 20'x18'. The room has a large vaulted ceiling that includes a large ledge for storage or display. There are 3 windows overlooking the front yard which bring in plenty of sunlight throughout the day and a small defined space for the armoire. The master bath and walk-in closet are opposite of the windows. , Bedrooms Design

  • chic river country, My bath is so me. It has reclaimed wood, porcelain tile that looks like old wood, corrugated tin, and an antique lantern wired for electricity. My shower is huge with slate tile floor. My sink is an antique brass bucket. The shower wall is glass blocks. My colors are brown and turquoise. My curtains will be turquoise burlap. I know right, whom would have ever thought you could buy turquoise burlap, only in America., Bathrooms Design

  • Decorate it and they will come!, This is my guest bedroom. It had been a catch all for everything and anything.
I took the doors off the closet a while back with plans to have a place to do my artwork. The Christmas tree ended up in there as a joke on my husband.. Who kept telling me I should leave it up all year long instead of going through all that work putting it up and down. Now I have real company coming! And I plan to take it all down... pack it away and move the table in front of it into the space... I will post the "after" pxs.

  • contemporary craftsman, long overdue 80's kitchen remodel. To keep within a good budget, worked with as much existing structure and flooring as possible. Several key structural changes moved a door within inches but makes massive space improvements. Took out wall from 4-season room to kitchen and kept the vault. So much for the standard midwest 2-story layout!, Kitchens Design

  • Themeless Neutral Brown and Green Nursery, I didn't want to know the sex of my baby, so I decorated a neutral space free of themes and clutter. I am in love with the limey green found throughout the nursery, it is in a main colour in my bedroom as well. I added a few touches of blue when my son was born in Dec :), Nurseries Design

  • Master Bath, Paradise lost! A master bath space poorly defined with an oversized closet in the room. The toilet area is small with a noisy ceiling fan and poor lighting. Next is a walk-in shower no door so water spills out. There is a large window the only natural light and a too large tub. Ceilings soffits make the room seem smaller. I would like a luxurious spa bath. more storage skylight and a redo on the closet. so we don't have to squeeze into the narrow hall way to use the toilet or the shower. , Bathrooms Design

  • Disaster Strikes Master Bath, We need help! We have a small closet in our masterbath that we decided to flip the opening toward the bathroom rather than at the entrance. Now we don't know how to make this small space work next to an "L" shaped countertop. Do we get rid of the L and extend the closet or maintaint the tiny closet and add a cabinet to the countertop? Ugh! We do plan on updating the entire bath including new countertops, yada, yada, yada....but the linen closet sets the method of our attack. Please give us your comments and details if we eliminate the closet how you would manipulate the space, or if we keep closet and manipulate the size. The short story is we really need the storage whether it come in the form of this closet or a free standing cabinet or piece of furniture!

Almost forgot something important. The previous owner did not put tile in the linen closet so eliminating that might be problematic as we do not have matching tile....nor plans/money to re-do the floor.

Thanks for the help!, Bathrooms Design
