  • Reed's Nursery Rhyme Nursery, This mural includes children's songs, fables, nursery rhymes, and tons of tiny critters and animals to keep a baby entertained. I created this nursery for my first born son Reed. I was 8 months pregnant when I began painting it. This was my favorite project because it was the first time I got to create a project for my own child. , Nurseries Design

  • Backyard Retreat, A pool side covered pavilion complete with dining, kitchen, bar, media and lounge area makes for leisure living outdoors. We have dreamed of building an outdoor kitchen/living area for many years. After the last 2 hurricanes that hit our area, we had to cut down 5 trees. To replace the shade lost from the trees we decided it was time to make our dream become a reality. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we love our new outdoor living area., Patios & Decks Design

  • Master Bathroom with a View, We recently (finally) renovated / remodeled our master bathroom that had been sitting gutted since the day we bought our house - over 3 1/2 years ago. We finally were able to borrow the lump sum needed to do this massive makeover. The issue with the original bathroom - other than the fact that it was super dated (green wallpaper) and yucky, was that the main drain was cracked and water was leaking to the floor below - into the walls and down to the floor. This is a second story bathroom and below it is the kitchen and dining room. Sadly the previous tenant was using the bathroom even with the broken drain pipes which had caused mold in the walls which we had to get professionally cleaned! Anyway, all that's in the past now and we have a fabulous modern (but comfortable) master bathroom that feels like an expensive hotel / spa and it even has a view of the bay and golden gate bridge!

feel free to follow our blog for the rest of our adventures in home makeover here - http://fixerwithaview.wordpress.com - we even have a blog section about how we almost got onto HGTV's curb appeal - shot the reveal and everything before our project was cancelled., Bathrooms Design

  • Eclectic Enough?, HELP! My living room has so many openings it's been difficult to figure out my furniture layout. I have a big window on one long wall a large opening into my breakfast nook another large opening into the foyer with the last wall taken up by the fire place. It is currently decorated very eclectically with piece I have collected and love. I have an Aubusson rug on top of wall to wall carpeting a traditional sofa and ottoman and 2 reproduction French chairs. , Living Rooms Design

  • work in progress, When we moved in, there were laminate floors, and laminate counter tops. My husband put down wood flooring, added crown moulding, a stained glass window, some open shelving, and a custom butcher block cutting board. Next we added granite counter tops and a tile backsplash. We just got stainless steel new appliances, but we still need to finish the backsplash behind the cooktop., Kitchens Design
