  • My mom's room AKA... "her baby" "her car" etc...., This area is an on going trial and error. She never gets tired of moving the furniture around. The art on the wall shows off my grandma's art. The couch you see is her prize possession. She treats it better than her REAL car. She learned from a friend that bringing the couch away from the wall gives the room more dimension.   • Red and Gold relaxing livingroom, Red and gold living room is very warm and relaxing. I love to read or listen to soft music in this livingroom. We do not have a TV in this area just our favorite pieces of art and figurines from our trips. We got the Shrunk in Germany and it is mahogany from the black forrest. We love the giant piece but once ypu place it you never want to move it again!, Living Rooms Design

  • Foyer Entrance Area Needs Help! , This is a foyer/entrance area that is odd shaped. This is the first thing people see when they enter our house and it's not very well coordinated or inviting. My dh does not want me to go through the ordeal of removing the mirror at this time. Sooooo, I have to work around that. Also I have hung my oil paintings on the walls mostly out of necessity, while they cure, prior to shipping out, but they can easily be put elsewhere. Any ideas and/or suggestions, as always, would be very much appreciated since I don't know what the heck to do here! , Other Spaces Design

  • Modern master retreat, I got my inspiration for this room from Rene, another Rate My Space member. I loved the dark walls contrasting with the white bedding, and we already had the dark furniture to work with. We added our own touches with some florals, vases, candles, and art for the wall. We would love to eventually purchase a rug that goes well with the room since we have such an open floor space in the center of the room., Bedrooms Design
