  • Reed's Nursery Rhyme Nursery, This mural includes children's songs, fables, nursery rhymes, and tons of tiny critters and animals to keep a baby entertained. I created this nursery for my first born son Reed. I was 8 months pregnant when I began painting it. This was my favorite project because it was the first time I got to create a project for my own child. , Nurseries Design

  • A cute brown and pink little girl's nursery, I chose browns and pinks for the color scheme. I am a firm believer of finding one thing you really like and planning everything else around it. In this case, I loved the polka dot fabric I found at Joann's that I used for the bed skirt and the outside of the bumper pads. It's funny to me now because I don't love it...and may be ready for a change almost 2 years after I picked it out...but at the time, I was smitten.

I bought this crib, but made the crib skirt, quilt, bumper pads, and nursery art. I found a mobile that matched perfectly at Target.com.
I pieced the front of her quilt together using all of the fabrics and colors I was using in the room. It tied it all together. I chose a soft minky swirled fabric for the back of the quilt. This is the PERFECT fabric for a baby quilt! It's super soft, and I get compliments all of the time about how pretty it is. The downside: It's kind of expensive...like $15 a yard expensive. BUT if you wait until you can grab a 40% or 50% off coupon it's much more doable...and totally worth it.
Like the Nursery Art I used for Lily's room? You can buy your own customized nursery art in any color at the etsy shop for Utah County Mom.
I made the changing table pad to match the bedding. We looked at getting the changing table that matched the crib but eventually decided to get an unfinished piece at D&B woods on Center Street in Provo. I am SO GLAD we did! I love it! We paid them to stain it the same color as the crib, and it was perfect.
I filled the basket with baby essentials, the top right drawer with tiny diapers, and the top left drawer with all of her accessories! I bought plastic drawer organizers at Target and organized her socks, tights, diaper covers, pacifiers, pacifier clips, headbands, hair clips, and hats.
Above the changing table, I hung her flower clip holder.
In her closet I stacked her burp cloths for easy access, filled the drawer with blankets and other things, and hung her tiny dresses. I put a lined basket in the left corner for dirty clothes.
On her bookshelf (from Target) I put her name in wooden letters, a few pictures of my husband and I as babies, some books and toys, the best baby monitor EVER and a basket of quilts
I purchased this toy chest in espresso, which I love. It's hinge doesn't slam shut, so there have been no pinched fingers yet. I love being able to clean up and put everything in the toy box, because Lily can help and it's easy.
Finally, we got the glider and ottoman at Target as one of their online daily deals.
I love Lily's nursery! There is room to play, it's somewhere soothing we can relax, and I had a lot of fun putting it together.

  • Sweet Annabelle's room, Our baby girl is due in just a few weeks and we couldn't be more excited! My mom made the bedding curtains table cover and glider cushions. My cousin painted the painting of her name that is above the changing table. The room is pretty small so the bookshelves add a lot of extra space. We had the best time doing this room and hope she loves it as much as we do!, Nurseries Design

  • Neutral Nursery, We painted a neutral (boring?) color so that we could easily transition back to office space. The wall decor was inexpensive and brings some color as do the crates that are used as shelving. The wall decals could use some help. I would like to scatter in a more random pattern throughout the room but hubby was tired of being on the ladder., Nurseries Design

  • Our baby boy's room, We wanted to do a sweet and simple nursery for our little boy. It is a small room, so we didn't have a lot of space to do much but I didn't want it to look cluttered. The silhouette tree is hand painted by my talented husband. We also covered the ceiling in bead board since we have popcorn ceilings (ugh.) It is painted a pale blue but it's hard to tell in the photos., Nurseries Design

  • Colorful Boy Nursery, When designing our baby boy's nursery, I wanted to create a room that was fairly gender-neutral and not too babyish or theme-y. My inspiration for the nursery design came from the colorful bedding. I loved the variety of primary colors and used accents of each color throughout the room., Nurseries Design
