A full renovation. Ceramic design tile in the tub area & below the marble chair rail. Matching marble on the windowsill & soap/shampoo holder in tub. I bought an old antique cabinet, cut the top off & put on granite w/a drop in sink. I used oil rubbed bronze fixtures throughout. I used a textured paint, purchased sconces, & a large mirror to continue w/the old world look.

Well I designed this with the 2X3 piece of marble my customer gave me in Naperville IL. the modern flat black granite was not working in this traditional setting. Then the builder thought it would be ok to put a contrasting gold island top to set it all off.

Our previous kitchen was an 8x8 cube in the middle of the house. We had a room, 11' x 20' on theback of house that was no longer being used as the kids are almost grown and gone. So I took it for the kitchen. I am super pleased.

Our Kitchen is 14ft by 14ft and in an old 1930's style cottage in the country. We gutted it and here are the results. Before and After. Still not done yet. So far it cost us around $2000.00 another $200.00 should have everything.

Our kitchen needed a long overdue update. We had maple cabinets with formica. I have always loved flowers, the ocean, baking and dainty things. I am also a disney nut, hence the tinkerbell. This all inspired me, and after alot of research I decided upon a country look. My hubby painstakingly painted the cabinets, and a family friend also a master cabinetmaker made our custom island and the hood above our microwave. I tried very hard but could not stay away from the marble countertop. I am an avid baker and looking forward to lots of baking in my kitchen. My daughter and hubby use the stool we have at the island to be with me or help me while cooking. Love my new kitchen! Just waiting on new outlet covers and a rug for under the table.

After years of living with etched glass walls with brass trim we tore it all out and replaced it with a modern walk-in doorless shower. The rest of the bathroom was updated with tropic brown counters, vessel sinks, and Nexus cabinets in brown. We paneled our bathtub with a simple nexus cover panel and replaced all of the brass with chrome. Our shower and bath tile was accented with a strip of gray marble mosaic with a travertine liner above and below. The shower pan was replaced with the marble mosaic as well. The floor tile was removed and replaced with Armstrong vinyl tiles to match the field wall tile on the diagonal in a brick pattern. The big glass mirror was replaced with modern mirrored medicine cabinets. This is a very low maintenance bathroom.

Master bathroom, great space--two vanities, seperate shower with jacuzzi tub. However, granite and marble colors way too dark and unrelaxing. More institutional orange on the walls. Not at all sure where to go with this b/c of stone colors. Someone out there surely has an idea of how we can salvage this bathroom without tearing out the flooring, walls and shower. This is where the creative masterminds are needed! Any suggestions?

My Kitchen before was drab and blah...the counters were a light buttery yellow quartz. So I decided to replace the quartz counter tops with Gorgeous "Sedna" Granite.
