We wanted to create a very girly space with touches of sophistication. We accomplished this with our color palate and simple decor. We used soft, subdued shades of pink and white juxtaposed with pops of bright lime green. We are very happy with the end result, creating a space our baby girl can enjoy for many years to come.

Brown and Green Christmas decor with lots of sparkle. I've picked up the lime green tones we have throughout our home in our Christmas decor. Since our Great Room has a lot of neutrals and browns, it's a perfect foil. This year we were remodeling our Master Bath, so I was without a specific for my holiday decor. I decided to just throw it all at the mantel- brown ,silver, gold and white and it worked! I always look for inspiration from new items I tuck away from the after holiday sales! I hate paying full price for anything!

We decided to redo my daughters room for her 4th birthday. She absolutely LOVES butterflies and really bright colors. I knew I wanted to use pink, purple, lime green, teal and yellow throughout her room. I love how it turned out and it makes you so cheery when you go in it. My daughter says,"It's magical"

This is the smallest bedroom in our recently purchased home, which we turned into the guest room. With little space to work with, we made it very welcoming for our guests.

Two little princesses started with a plain light gray room. With the purchase of new bunk beds & new polka dot bedding, we needed something girly to jazz up the new space. We taped off horizontal stripes to coordinate, and the attached bath uses polka dots in the coordinating colors and the same princess theme. It uses bubble gum pink, lime green, light teal/turquoise, and tan/khaki. The wall of baskets was pricey but is invaluable storage for toys and such. The whole project was kid-friendly and fun and on a budget.

We gutted our living room down to the drywall. This was not my typical style but after finding this furniture at a great deal, it was the focus of my design. It was a lot of fun to find accents for it. Hope you enjoy it! We are loving it!!
You will notice the walls and carpet are neutral, we are just basically staging to sell. So very neutral tones!!

Baby girl nursery with bright pink, lime, and turquoise in happy floral theme with little garden bug accents. Also incorporates Fisher Price Rainforest accessories.
From early on, I knew I didn't want a traditional pale pink girl nursery. I wanted something happy and bright.
I really wanted to do lime and turquoise and ideally I was hoping to do it in florals, but most of the sets I found were very boyish. I actually ordered 3 crib sets and sent them back before I found one that had the right shades and colors that I was looking for. From there, I searched for coordinating fabrics and accessories to personalize the space and really tie my colors together. It ended up including pink after all, but a very bright happy pink which fit nicely with what I had in mind.
I spent $1,000 on the furniture and about another $500 in paint and decor. But my parents bought a few things for the room and my best friend paid for the custom made window treatments and a few other things. So in total, we probably have about $2,000-$2,200 in the room.
She's 7 months old now and LOVES her room! She's loves looking around at all the bright colors and accessories.

I transformed my daughter's bathroom for less than $200. I painted the cabinets, attached the cabinet hardware, painted the walls, added a couple pieces of art and some contrasting towels along with a fun shower curtain. The walls are a light lime green with teal and chocolate brown towels to contrast. I did this all in a couple of days and all while my husband was in Germany :

I know you're asking yourself "What was she thinking?" Ok, I take full responsibility for the bright and unconventional colors. When I moved in I had been yearning for a beach vacation and decided I wanted a cheerful caribbean kitchen. The whole house has a tendancy to be dark inside, so I wanted to brighten up the galley kitchen. I still like the bright colors, but everything from floor to ceiling needs to be updated. I need some ideas on how to keep the kitchen light and bright while modernizing it, so I'm open to suggestions. Since the kitchen is so narrow, I think dark cabinets would close in the space.

Just bought the sectional, and finally hanging the art, that I'd done about four months ago.
Couldn't wait until it was finished, I was so anxious to do my first post :
