TO DO LIST... Renovate basement by the weekend.
-Monday- Order Norstone 100% natural stacked stone rock panels-CHECK;
-Tuesday- Sweep dirty rotten nasty basement before wife beats me senseless.-CHECK;
-Wednesday- Rock Panels delivered to my door ...great concept-CHECK. -Thursday and Friday-Install 300 sq ft (easy install, no spacers or grout just a 1/2 inch trowel and thinset 1 sq ft at a time-CHECK.
-Saturday- buy some wine and a good cork screw-CHECK;
-Sunday-Pop a cork or two, Relaxxxx and pour my wife a few glasses of wine...She loves me again-CHECK... Basement completed.

This space is a nightmare to decorate. I love decorating, but can't figure out how to squeeze it all in. Also, with the large vaulted ceiling and bull-nosed corners, I don't know how to paint it either. I think I did pretty well with the massive plant ledge, but the room just screams paint me! This is an open floor plan, so everything flows together, which makes it very difficult to figure out paint issues. Do I paint it all one color, if not, where do I stop? Thank you so much for your help with this! This house is only 3 years old, and for 3 years, I have wondered what to do with it!

When in the LR, look in to the DR. two columns and then the open space w/ledge that fills in the peak area which goes up to approx 6 feet. Right now, rooms are being painted/cleaned up and need a fresh look. Help

My parents are coming in Sept and my accessory-less place looks sad & empty! After taking a financial hit from a bad breakup I moved into in. I was so happy to have my own place to start over in I did not realize the 8” granite shelves in my windows would be a big design obstacle. My parents are already concerned about my limited social life and stressful work life; I would like them to see that I have created a nice home for myself.

A free form 30 x 19 pool with a flagstone beach entrance 30' of river rock wall with 10 weeps an octopus mosaic and a huge tanning ledge covered in blue illuminati tiles. This is truly our backyard oasis. We are still in the process of landscaping but will give an English garden feel to compliment our English tudor home.

When building our house we decided to build ledges with lights on both sides to break it up a little. We moved the fireplace into the corner and built a bay window where we really enjoy to sit and watch the wildlife outside. The glass hutch holds my husband's motorcycle collection. We added some masks to compliment the "wildlife" fabrics and leopard print chaise.

My inspiration for our master was a Monet painting. I used colors from the painting to give the room a garden feel but still tried to keep it modern. I love art and hope to keep adding more as I continue to improve on my original idea.

Pink 2 story entryway that hasn't had anything done to it in 17 yrs. There's even a ledge that has gravel on it for decoration...also includes a dated handrail!

I don't have any before pictures because I decorated the space this way when I moved in. The house has a 2 story appearance on the exterior - BUT, it is really a 2 story open space on the inside. The ledge is a weird space to decorate, but I think standing the brass rubbings on the ledge made it very decorative.

I have a purple and grey themed Master bedroom. I have a faux painted silver foil looking wall behind the bed. I am up for any suggestions you have to improve it and my master bath definately needs help. It has the typical standard shower/bath combo liner- and not a lot of space. I am thinking of tiling the flooring and countertops. I would love some inexpensive suggestions!
